    • Game is F2P.
    • Skins are cosmetic.
    • Noone cares if you won't buy the skins if statistical data on Riot's side indicate it doesn't matter.
    • Working out the monetization method belongs to the employees of Riot Games Inc., not to You, random smartass on the internet.
    • People vote with their wallet.

Anyone else thinks there should be a 6 Kill sound?

    Posted: 20 Jun 2020 09:21 PM PDT

I believe that if a person gets 6 Kills in one round that it should at least play a different sound so others understand that this player just had a huge clutch play and kill not only every player but one o the enemy players twice in that single round. Just my thoughts I'd love feedback and/or ideas for other things you think.

How to be a Professional Valorant Callout Gamer!!

    Posted: 20 Jun 2020 11:09 PM PDT

So I made a post a few weeks back about professional backseat gaming and was glad to help so many people and give them tips. But as much as people have learned, there is even a lot more to be learned in a game like Valorant. It's not just about kills!! It's about strategy, tactics and communication.
Now a lot of people may already know some good voice chat callouts .. but here are some explanation to some callouts and how to do it professionally to those who want to perfect their team communication.

    1. When you see an enemy or hear multiple steps, just shout "On me, on me, on me". 3 times is usually what makes it understandable to your teammates. If one of your mates asks "where is that?" answer him "on me" again. Some people need to hear it 4 times
    2. Let's say you know where an enemy exactly is. In Heaven for example. Don't rush and say "Awp Heaven". Take a deep breath first, you've been killed for god sake! Cycle through spectating your teammates and find the closest one. Call him by name. You have time to look at his name in the scoreboard. Maybe check his weapon first. And try to be creative tell him in suspense way: "Hey {teammate}, I was going from A long to site but got flashed, so I looked away for a second. I thought he would push .. but he didn't. So I peeked and saw him all the way up Heaven with sniper just looking at me". From my experience this increases the chance of winning the round.
    3. If you hear your mate say "double peek", then you have to peek with him .. just make sure you line up perfectly behind him for the enemy not to see you. That way you can catch the enemy off guard and get a free kill.
    4. If you play breach or phoenix you might hear some mates ask you "flash me inside". This means exactly as it says. Wait for him to go fight the enemy and then throw a flash at a good spot to flash both .. the enemy and your mate. Don't improvise, just follow orders.
    5. If someone tells you that an enemy is "1 hp, go push him", this usually means that this enemy is 149 hp or above. But keep in mind, if you die pushing the enemy, don't even bother to ask how much damage he did to the enemy. Why? Because the answer is always "Yeah they have sage mate".
    6. Sometimes when attacking you will hear "A site is clear" while you have bomb in B main. What this usually means that you have to tell them calmly say "nice job guys" and then shift walk towards B site and fight the nearest enemy you see. If they tell you "ROTATE YOU DUMBASS" and be all toxic towards you, just ask "what were you guys doing in A anyway?". That question increases the team dynamic and guarantees the round win.

Valorant pro competition tab on the main screen

    Posted: 21 Jun 2020 12:36 PM PDT

So I'm really enjoying valorant and I want to follow the pro scene but I'm really bad at that so I was wondering about if they are (or if you guys think they should) add a page on there website with their "pro scene planner" which would have a time line of the past present and future pro events like twitch rivals and more. They could even bring it as far as to show teams and who is in it and stats like who won what. They (if they do something like this) would hopefully add a tab in game (like the patch notes bit tab on the home page). Also I may be stupid and they already do something like this but I was just wondering.

    Guardian price should be lower

    Posted: 21 Jun 2020 12:32 PM PDT

It's a great gun, but it's very situational. A 2400 price tag seems fairer and puts it in a proper balance between the Bulldog and Phantom/Vandal, otherwise its shadowed by the ARs and Bulldog seems more attractive in many situations.

So the mystery about "Genius" title is SOLVED (for now)

So the mystery about "Genius" title is SOLVED (for now)

So there's been a mystery about the Genius title in Valorant.

After searching the internet I've found no info about how to obtain it.

So i given my reddit and ingame name i just had to find out how to get it.

After hours of looking through all the maps and piecing out all easter eggs I didn't get it and looked through the game files to see any hints. NOTHING

Support tickets always said they can't disclose the information...

On reddit someone said they sent in their 140 IQ test and got the title. After looking past the users post and asking for proof i came to the conclusion that he is dumb as shit and also lying.

So i sent in my IQ test and this is what i received.

TLDR: Can't get it at this moment maybe later

    VALORANT freezing Laptops?

    Posted: 21 Jun 2020 07:01 AM PDT

So I have encountered a problem with VALORANT on a laptop that fullfills all the requirements for the game. Basically the game freezes every now and shuts down the entire system. It doesn't happen right away. Usually after a couple of games. The laptop has extra coolers so it is definitely not overheating or something like that. All we can do then is hard shutdown. The system doesn't respond to anything.

This has never happened on any other game. Only on VALORANT.

Has anyone else had similar problems? I thought VALORANT is supposed to run on nearly anything.

My first game was the best I could have asked for.

    Posted: 21 Jun 2020 08:46 AM PDT

I chose Jett and was mostly playing terrible, accidentally wasting my abilities, running into enemy fire, never walking. I normally play tf2. But I was at the bottom of the score board the only time I got kills was when I used the operator. But my team was so nice, only one used the mic but they all said such nice things and encouraged me. Guys my name was "bepis" and if you're reading this, thank you. Then came match point, we were up 12-10 and my entire team had died and the spike was planted. It was a 1-4 but I had the operator. I killed all 4 and got to the spike. PRESSED E cuz that's what I'm used to to defuse the bomb and flew forward. But I ran back to the bomb, and defused it with like a millisecond left. The game ended, one of them added me, and we said ggs. Thank you teammates, it was a fantastic first game.

Preview of a Valorant web app we've been working on

Hello! Some might remember me as the guy who wrote the Valorant Setups app

It's an app that will give you a quick overview over some of the most useful lineups for different agents.

After posting about it on reddit, u/Kurumi_Fortune contacted me about bringing the app to the web. A few days later and we now have a working prototype. We're now looking for people to join our discord and to start testing the web app (link in discord).

We're also looking for feedback to the app in general and are looking into a possibility for the community to get involved by submitting useful lineups or even clips that we can feature.

The app is by no means complete, there is still a ton of work to be done. But go ahead and join the discord, we're curious as to what everyone thinks about it :)
