    The current system gives the most points for entry kills and considers the last kill in the round as the least important, even when it is 1 v 1 clutch. Usually support agents suffer from this, since they can't chase entry frags, which directly affects their combat score and, as the result, their rank (which takes into consideration combat score in low and med ranks).

    The idea is to assign the points based on the importance of the kill. Obviously, the importance can't be calculated perfectly, but it clearly does not exclusively depend on the number of enemies alive. We should at least consider the number of alive allies too.

    The system, based on the difference in the number of players alive, seems to be more fair:

    • + 4 allies alive – 70 points
    • + 3 allies alive – 90 points
    • + 2 allies alive – 110 points
    • + 1 ally alive – 130 points
    • equal numbers – 150 points
    • + 1 enemy alive – 150 points
    • + 2 enemies alive – 130 points
    • + 3 enemies alive – 110 points
    • + 4 enemies alive – 90 points

    Thus, the most important kills are:

    - those, which give your team a numerical advantage (kill when there is an equal number of allies and enemies)

    - those, which take away this advantage from enemy team (kill when there is +1 enemy alive compared to your team)

    Everything which moves away from these conditions in any direction is less important, for example:

    - kills 5 v 1, 4 v 1 or 5 v 2 are not that important, since your team already has an advantage and these are almost free kills

    - kills 1 v 5, 1 v 4 or 2 v 5 are also not really important, since these kills provide almost no benefit to your team (however, if you keep killing further, each next kill will be considered more and more important, eventually you will achieve "+1 enemy" and "equal numbers" situations)

    As a result, entry kills still give maximum points, but clutch kills are now equally important. In the same time baiting your team and doing 1-2 frags in the end of a round provides less points.

    First would like to say that this video and my reddit post are not rants. I just want what is best for the community and thought I would throw my 2 cents into the mix

    (This is my video). The issue with VALORANT right now is how the only thing people see in the game that is worth grinding for is ELO. The egos of some people on this game is crazy and they look at stats like its a religion. I agree that this game is in fact a "competitive game" but when you let your ego get into the way on ranked it tends to stir up the team a bit. After all this is a team base game not a 1v1 game. I think right now in the current community a lot of people need to think about this and work on it because all its doing is promoting a toxic environment for everyone. A argument against this would be "just 5 stack" not everyone is able to do this right now and if you are using the LFG it can also be a nightmare. I think a main problem right now is there is not a lot of ESEA or faceIT support for this game. Sure there are 10 man discord servers and such but its not the same faceIT and esea where you have global leaderboards and different ranks to grind for. I think including these two programs for VALORANT would help dramatically with the way people see matchmaking. You might still run into those toxic individuals but when CSGO had these things ESEA was an enjoyable experience and helped me progress as a player.

    Would love to also know everyone's thoughts on the video maybe we can have a discussion about this topic :)

    Does Art For VP actually work?

    I recently bought a 10€ PaySafe card and just noticed that it can only buy 950 VP, and that because of that I'm 50 VP short to buy the battle pass. Then I remembered that thing where you would get RP for art in League of Legends, does anyone know if this actually works for Valorant?

    Here's an idea when it's a 1v1 and you need to defuse:

    1) Put down a placable "bait" 2) Hold the defuse 3) Activate the bait 4) Profit

    The enemy hears footsteps, and you can't move while defusing, so they think you're off the bomb

    This is an agents based on playing around smokes (your or hostile) and controlling areas with smokes.

    Gender:Male

    Origin: Steampunk London, Victorian Age

    • Q: Radar / Cost: 200 / Quantity: 1

    Place a small rotating radar which cover a small area and spot enemy.

    It can be used for spotting enemy inside smokes or viper ult Or also can be used like cypher wire

    • C: Smoke Trap / Cost:100 / Quantity:2 / Duration: like Jett's smoke

    Place a wire that activate a smoke when an enemy passes through

    • E: Monocle / Duration: 10s / Recharge: 30s / Quantity:1

    Steam wears his Victorian Monocle which allows him to see normally when he is inside all smoke for 10 sec (both friendly or hostile) like inside Omen's smoke, it function also with Viper's ult and his ult.

    (I don't know if it can also make in invulnerable to flash when he wear it or if this will make it too powerful)

    • X (Ult): Smoke Machine / Orb to activate: 7 / Duration: until it get destroyed

    He place a smoke machine that starts producing smoke and covering an area .

    This is similar to Viper's ult but last until the machine get destroyed also when he dies and when he goes away Instead doesn't make damage when enemies are inside.

    With monocle Steam can see inside it like outside

    Hello guys!

    There are currently only 3 controllers in the game, so I thought to make a concept for another one.

    Meet Raaz, a Prince from India. I tried to make the abilities as balanced as possible, but any sort of feedback is appreciated.

    Also, please excuse the rough art.

    BACKSTORY:

    Raaz used to be a wealthy prince of India. He managed his flourishing trade of radianite along with his father. One day, a mishap resulted in a radianite explosion (as apparent in Haven) which killed his entire family, but gave him special abilities. He has forgotten his past and now strives to be the most powerful being in the world.

    Deathmatch is a Ridiculous Clusterfuck with Awful Spawns

    The number of times I spawn directly looking at an enemy or with an enemy directly looking at me is ridiculous. And even if that doesn't happen, the second you engage an enemy in an actually fair fight you are almost immediately shot in the back by 6 people. I still win almost every game but it's not an enjoyable experience.

    Still serves it's purpose for warmup but currently feels like there are simply too many people on the map. I would like to see CT/T spawn removed as spawn areas completely for a start, then some sort of system that can stop you form spawning literally inside 50 enemies.

    Gaining INSANE amount of Elo for basically doing nothing?

    This happened to my friend today.
    He went 10/11/3 in a match with score 13-10 and got 114 elo which is just absurd( For the unknown, 100 in a tier=Rank up). Plus he ain't the only one. Saw many other posts where others experienced as well. Is this some sort of bug that might get fixed soon?
    Or is Riot trying to push people in upper ranks?

    I come across this too often - I'll solo or duo queue for comp around gold elo and people will be talking in agent select or before each round starts and then during the round there's absolutely no comms at all.

    Please just bind your team comms key to a mouse button or something and remember to press it so we can all hear callouts <3

    I've been hardstuck silver 2 since the game came out, should I just accept that I'm garbage and move on?

    This shit has been fucking me up mentally, I keep trying everyday and at this point I probably have more than 2k hours in this shitty game. I've worked on everything ranging from counter-strafing, pre-aiming, crosshair placement, utility usage, watched countless of youtube videos telling me how shitty my game sense is, comms and much more. But yet when I go in game, my brain kinda goes monkey mode and I don't know what happens, I'll go on a 3-4 game win streak then 5 loss and lose more than I gained. It's so fucking demotivating since my friend (who rarely plays any video games) just ranked up to diamond 2 last night. This game is supposed to be fun right? cuz I don't know what the fuck is happening.
