    Petition to stop demanding sage to wall mid

    I've been playing Valorant for a while now, and each day that I'm playing for a game or two, there will always be 1 or 2 players that keep on demanding either for one player to pick sage as a healer/support or to wall mid.

    As a sage main, it is infuriating whenever someone in the team demands to wall mid. I understand that sometimes walling mid is a way to delay the enemy team from pushing, but there are times where the enemies would break down the wall and rush, or the sage from the enemy team would counter it with their wall, making the wall at mid useless. I know that the game requires coordination for each agent's abilities but demanding, shouting at voice chat, bullying, or trash-talking the sage player because of not walling mid is not okay.

    We all ticked the code of conduct by riot, and I hope everyone sticks by it.

    As by riot's code of conduct number 2, "Respect My Teammates":

    "I will respect my teammates and make every best effort to foster an environment where they can perform. I understand that respect builds trust, and that trust is needed for everyone to perform their best."

    Sometimes there will always be rounds that walls are needed for post-rounds, i.e., entries, angles, and block defusing are one of them. If you don't know what I mean by angles, look up Grim on youtube

    It would be much appreciated if teammates KINDLY request for walling something not demanding it. These doesn't limit to players who keep insisting on walling mid but for all players who are just toxic. Please let us keep a healthy community and let us play whatever we want however we want.

    Imagine a mode where each team is defending a site, while also trying to plant the spike.

    My idea is that there is only one spike, and the teams have to fight over it. This mode might not work with the current maps, but I'm sure there could be ways around that.

    AGENTS numbers - why is the number 8 missing?

    Hi whatching this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3EogJ05P2g&t=3264s) (that it's amazing) i found out that every agent has a number and looking at the released agents, number 8 is missing.

    the numbers are written in the agent card in game and in the spotify playlists created for each agent.

    so... Why do u think agent 8 is missing? it will be a future agent? or it's something still missing in the lore?

    somebody think that the number refers to the joining date to valorant protocol

    Controller Agent Concept (CARNAGE)

    Hey yall! After posting the Ember concept yesterday I decided might as well slowly start moving all my concepts that are within the official Valorant discord server out into Reddit as well.

    I am Weeb Concept Creator (W.C.C.), a moderator for the official Valorant discord server who makes many...many different agent concepts to simply have fun and theorize what could actually pop into the game!

    This is going to be the controller concept most of my fellow friends love the most for it's theme and overall design of how they'd play. This is Carnage:

    Kaira, an wrongfully convicted individual sent to life in one of the largest prisons in the world. He had good social skills and made lots of friends and even helped many which started to grow his reputation and people began to look after him as well. Other inmates started to disappear however, and suddenly the wardens grabbed Kaira and sent him into the backrooms where he saw many friends of his having their soul ripped apart from their bodies, a glowing entity of red spinning in black mist from the radianite pikes plunging into their chests. They were all sent to a gathered ball of screaming, agonizing emotions, it seemed only Kaira could hear their pleads. When the radianite pike pierced into him however, something snapped inside of him, and suddenly the emotions of everyone around him blew up in flair, and with it, he could feel the soul of everyone around him, all their cries of pain, and the evil within the wardens. Something happened, and while he was bleeding out for the pike still inside of him, and explosion went off, destroying the entire prison and eradicating almost everyone there. There were some wardens and police men who were limping for safety and along the rubble was Kaira, with thousands of screaming souls moving around him and slowly merging with him. They helped stopped the bleeding, and Kaira got to his feet with a new found energy, a new found purpose, a new lust for Carnage. Kaira was still innocent and wanted everyone safe, but he knew something had to be down, he knew they had to pay. He could hear his friends along with strangers within his head, a hivemind of screaming emotions and impossible pleads. He let them take over his body when he saw the same warden that pierced one of his friends in the backroom, he let the collective entity of all the inmates that were wronged within him take over as they combined formed Carnage*.*

    Agent Name: Carnage (Controller / Lurking Smokes)

    Q: Swirling Agony ---> EQUIP a bundle of rivaling souls. FIRE to release the souls that travel a short distance forward and through walls. Once it reaches a short distance, the souls spin violently for the next 5 seconds and destroys any projectile (other than bullets) that comes through the loop. Once a projectile passes the hoop, or after 5 seconds, the loop fills into a screen blocking line of sight for the next 10 seconds. (2 Charges, 100 Credits Each)

    C: Devour Hope ---> INSTANTLY enter a animalistic hunting state, unable to fire weapons or use other abilities. While active, gain complete silence when running and jumping and gain the ability to see enemies through walls based on their missing health from a short distance (NOTE: Enemies Don't Appear For Allies If Seen). RE ACTIVATE to disable the ability. Total amount of activation time is 10 seconds. (1 Charge, 300 Credits)

    E: Descending Misery ---> EQUIP a ball of ravaging souls. FIRE to enter a unique view that will constantly move at a fast pace and freely move. RE ACTIVATE or reaching max distance, go back to CARNAGE's view and send the bundle of souls forward along the path, leaving a smoke trail lasting 22.5 seconds. (NOTE: When forming the path, CARNAGE will not see enemies unless other allies have a visible view of them. Similar to OMEN's unique view with his smokes). (1 Charge, Free, Recharges After 35 Seconds)

    X: Annihilation ---> INSTANTLY unsheathe all of the souls within Kaira to form an energized blade of emotions for the next 10 seconds. During this time Kaira has permenate activation of Devour Hope and can see enemies much further. FIRE to slice with the blade and HOLD FIRE to charge a lunge. Upon striking an enemy, annihilate them and, after a few seconds, pull away and gain invulnerability and invisibility for a brief moment. (7 Ultimate Charges Required)

    So yeah! That's the Carnage concept!     Anyone else love the animations on some knifes yet dissapointed by their texture?

    Opinion incoming.

    For example, the kunai knife (Vol.1 knife I believe it's called). The knife shape is so clean looking with a beautiful equip animation, but the Jett print really makes it ugly, and also has a problem where non-Jett mains will feel less inclined to buy it.

    Also the prime 2.0 karambit knife. They finally added a karambit with absolutely wonderful animations (on level 1) but the model just looks so blocky with ugly colours. It doesn't have that smooth curved blade like it should. Please, next time make it a smooth looking karambit with a clean, neutral print.

    I hope that when they eventually release a butterfly knife, it won't be something silly like a Yoru haircomb like some people think it will be. When you make a butterfly knife, please also add a "no bells and whistles" variant.

    I understand some people like the vibe of these mentioned skins, but please also release a clean looking variant alongside these otherwise beautiful knives! Some people just like their knives with less bells and whistles.

    I'm still relatively new to the game. Been playing for about 2 months. I had 1,000 hours in CS so I'm not new the genre. Been having fun with the game but my issues with peekers advantage and the extremely slow tagging speed have been making it rather hard to adjust.

    One thing I've been noticing recently is I feel like I cannot hold an angle. I'll get wide-peeked and then insta headshotted, not really having enough time to adjust my crosshair. But then the next round I'll aim a little further from the corner, and then I get get peeked closer to the corner. Should I even be trying to hold an angle at all? I actually find myself trying to play against a wall and peeking the attackers even when I'm defending now, since peeking seems to be more advantageous than holding the angle.

    Also, is there any advice on holding angles when defending/post-plant? I feel like every site has almost no place to play safely; I feel exposed in every position unless I have controllers walling everything off. I actually find myself preferring to play off site sometimes and retaking it so I can peek angles on the people holding them lol.

    Agent Concept: Sabre

    "We'll Cut through them"

    Agent Name: Sabre

    Role: Duelist

    Blurb: The Indian swordmaster, Sabre uses his radianite-infused swords to gain an edge on the battlefield. Sabre will cut the enemies down one by one until they're all gone.

    Signature Ability: 1 charge. 2 kill cooldown.

    Voiceline: Deflecting.

    Titanium Shamshir- Instantly equip a Titanium Shamshir, deflecting all bullets from your front for 3.5s. This ability also acts as a knife hit at use, dealing 150 damage with the same hitbox as a knife.

    Ability 1: 3 charge. 100 creds.

    Shamshir Wall- Place 2 Shamshirs on a target area, similar to placing a Sage wall, but the range is much larger. These build a holographic wall that amps out going out and reduces the damage coming in based on how much damage you reflected with Titanium Shamshir. Base wall amps shots by 15 percent and reduces them by 20%. The wall lasts 25s and has 400 hp.

    Ability 2: 1 charge. 300 creds.

    Voiceline: Funneling.

    Voiceline: Let's move them.

    Cosmic Funnel- Equip a tactical map of a small area. Fire on one spot to summon a Shamshir. Fire on another spot to summon a Shamshir there. These Shamshirs have a radius similar to an Astra blackhole and cannot be destroyed. Interact with one of the Shamshirs to activate a short channel in the radius. Enemies in the radius, once the channel finished, are instantly teleported to the other Shamshir radius. The activated Shamshir gets deactivated until the other Shamshir gets activated. After both Shamshirs are activated, they get destroyed.

    Ultimate: 7 Ult Points

    Voiceline for Team: Let's tear through.

    Voiceline for Enemy: Try and catch us.

    Dimensional Tear- Use your sword to tear through reality, creating a dimensional tear in front of you with the use of the ability button for 25s. This tear is visible to everyone. If you or an ally walk through the tear, you get transported to another parallel dimension for 11s. In this dimension, you see enemies as blue silhouettes and they see you the same way. You cannot harm them or get harmed with bullets. You can affect each other with abilities. While in the other dimension, you can plant. While defusing, you exit the form. You can only use the tear once. You also move 20% faster in the dimension.

    Passive:

    Swordhand- All knife damage is doubled.
