    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 12:41 PM PDT

    Greetings Agents!

New patch, new Bug mega. To avoid bugs report cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed we will get a single Megathread which will be posted today and after every patch so that you guys can report the various issues in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered.

    Patch notes 3.02

Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug

    1. A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
    2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.

Format when reporting a bug: When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your computer.

Region: The region you're playing in when you encountered the bug

Type of Bug: Client Bug, In Game Bug, etc.

Description: Describe what was the bug that occurred.

Video / Screenshot: Insert screenshot (F12 in game) or Video of the bug occurring.

Steps to reproduce: Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug.

Expected result: What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above.

Observed result: What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above?

Reproduction rate: If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10 : Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10 : Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10 : Happens every single time)

System specs: Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers.

    Example Bug:

    Region: EU

    Type of Bug: Matchmaking

    Description: Matchmaking doesn't work properly

Insert Video / Screenshot of the incident

Reproduction rate: 10/10 (happened 10 out of 10 times)

Steps to reproduce: Try to launch a game

    Expected result: Match starting

Observed result: Getting stuck in infinite queue

System Specs: Intel i5 Processor, Windows 7, Nvidia Graphics card (insert model number) etc.

If you don't know how to format comments on Reddit click here

    - **Region:** - **Type of Bug:** - **Description:** - **Video / Screenshot:** - **Steps to reproduce:** - **Expected result:** - **Observed result:** - **Reproduction rate:** - **System specs:**

Copy paste the above code and fill in your details.

From this Megathread the list of bugs will not be summarized and put up in the main body of the thread, however note that many Rioters are going through every single comment so don't worry if you post the 1500th or 3000th comment, every reply will be read over the next few days.

VALORANT is way too under optimized even with high end hardware achieving same performance as a mid end pc.

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 03:49 AM PDT

After every update, its almost a guarantee that the performance and fps decreases. This game is so underoptimised that a simple game like VALORANT can have slightly higher or the same fps as apex legends. A game like overwatch while doing a huge 6v6 team fight full of particles and i still have significantly higher fps than in valorant. Something is wrong with this game and the bugs are just crazy. They create a patch fixing bugs but then even more bugs appear. Its starting to get out of control at this point.

Is it like a bot or something? They picked sage and seem to do everything that the message said. They never responded to anything said in chat.

Raze and viper are war criminals

    Posted: 19 Jul 2021 03:22 PM PDT

Raze's grenades are technically expanding ordinance, which is against the Geneva convention. Guess what else is against the Geneva convention? Chemical warfare; which is literally every single one of Viper's abilities. Also, if either of them kills a Sage she is killing a field medic, so that too. I had to look up the fucking Geneva convention and unlock viper which took like three days to get this knowledge, so it isn't low-effort Thanks for listening to my Ted talk

Edit: So is Killjoy due to their AI controller and her ult sabotaging enemy weaponry. Also so is Phoenix by just existing as a bio-weapon. So is Kay/o for his suppressing ability for also sabotaging enemy weaponry. And yes, I know it isn't a war but it's still violating the Geneva convention and it's more fun to call them war criminals rather than "violators of the Geneva convention." Also, sage technically isn't a field medic because she is armed and does kill; but if the sage is a friendly then technically it is a war crime to kill them because they would be a field medic.

Can Valorant get a small 1v1 or 2v2 map ?

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 12:52 AM PDT

I personally think it'd be super cool if Valorant can get a simple 1v1 or 2v2 map with a single bombsite and 1 flanking route in each side.

I'm not asking this to be an official game mode, like solo or wingman, but rather just a single map to play on. There are many people who play Custom Games with just Ascent A or Bind B. It's great for casual plays among friends and practice against one another and help each other improve.

But for a good 1v1 or 2v2 other maps are too big or too connected to other areas of map, making them less fun.

Hence a simple request if Valorant ever gets a simple 1v1 or 2v2 map.

    New Sentinels of Light Skins!

    Community wasn't what I expected

    Posted: 19 Jul 2021 08:33 PM PDT

Just want to share this gem, I just started playing this game recently and not sure what to expect from the community. I played quite a few cs go back in the days and it always just seem very toxic. First game of the day, I was trying out phoenix for the first time. First round in, I got ding up pretty bad and teammate in front of me got killed. I hear over the voice chat what sounded like "phoenix, kill yourself!" I was taken aback. He repeated a few more times and then said "put it on the ground and it'll heal you." That's when it clicked that he meant heal myself the whole time. I was just dying from laughter. I didn't even know I could do that. Everyone seemed pretty chill and I'm enjoying the game a lot. Hopefully it stays that way.

    Ruination Vandal Concept

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 06:51 AM PDT

    Ruination Vandal Concept

I got bored, so I threw together a concept for how the Ruination skin line would look on a Vandal. I don't think I quite nailed the aesthetic, but it's one of those things that never get finished if you keep adding and changing things you don't like.

Molly lineups for every map and all common plant sites (including Breeze)

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 08:05 AM PDT

I spent a couple hours this week finding molly lineups on all maps for all common plant spots. I verified with Viper and Brim that their trajectories are the same. The only difference is I set these up on Viper and used the snake bite crosshair for about half of the lineups, which unfortunately is not the same spot in the utility belt for Brim, so you'll need to just copy the crosshair position or some other UI element for Brim/KJ/Phoenix/Raze. Also worth noting this is in 4K, so that might change stuff if you play on a different resolution.

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 11:29 AM PDT

I have been wondering which spectre skin is the best (based on your preference) especially with the sound effects and finisher. Which has the most aimbot feel and worth the valo points. Wanna know via poll!!

Would a commend system be a good addition to Valorant?

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 12:58 PM PDT

I come from games like Dota and CSGO (switched to Valorant permanently a month and a half ago). These games have a commend system in addition to the report system. After games, you can commend people for being great teammates. You can commend people for specific things like being a great leader, a friendly teammate, etc. The commends you earn would then be displayed on your profile like a badge of honor. In my opinion, adding something positive to the experience and feel of the game will be a good addition.

Imagine having the funnest game with very friendly teammates and after the games end that's that. It would feel better to know that your teammates appreciated you beyond the win or loss. It could just be a non-sequitur thing that you can display in like the loading screen. Or potentially even go deeper to having like frequently reported people play with each other and commended people play with each other. There has to be a way to prevent abuse though if that were to happen.

What do you guys think? Ofc this is like a least priority thing.

    OT in low elo

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 11:48 AM PDT

Its so funny when i play a match and it gets to over time ...my teammates who used to bait since round 1 starts to trade corretly ... duelists starts to actually enrty ...bad players start clutching in genius ways ... Like they're completely different players ... if you can do that from the beginning why dont you save the time and focus earlier ... But ya OT in low elo is so fun 😂

    Run n Gun

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 08:09 AM PDT

I thought with patch 3.00 the run n gun was supposed to be toned down drastically?? Now every single game I play I get Ferrari peaked and instantly one tapped. Not sure if it's my ping or just straight packet loss but it seems like ever since the update I've been seeing more and more people running one tap me than ever before.

    Posted: 20 Jul 2021 12:17 PM PDT

Imagine if there was an agent (maybe a different model of Kay/O) that could counter different abilities. One ability would allow them to see through smokes for x seconds, another would allow them to not get flashed for the next y seconds idk what the rest would do

Does anyone else feel like phoenix need some sort of buff? I feel like apart from his ult all of his abilities just aren't it by a small proportion. Thought? Also, suggestions for buffs?
