- I've been experimenting with being more positive in games. The results are sometimes pretty astounding.
- Don't just copy crosshair settings! Here's why:
- Wasting other players time for your personal fun is toxic.
- When you can play raze like Jett than Jett herself

- This game straight up has the dopest home screen music, and sexiest weapon skins of any game I’ve ever played.
- Fun fact: While spectating on Split, the rope sometimes appears curved
- If the game crashes , why am I the one who gets punished by time out ?

PSA for those shooting out recon bolts Posted: 19 Jun 2020 11:01 AM PDT STOP!! I'm not talking about when the recon bolt is right next to you and there's no choice but to shoot it. I'm saying in the situations when instead of shooting it, you can move out of it's line of sight. There are so many times when I catch my teammates shooting the bolt when they could've just moved and now our position is given up even though we weren't scanned. Rant over. TLDR: Don't shoot recon bolts if you can move out of it's line of sight. EDIT: Also, I don't mean this as a "one trick always works" type of strat. Then I compliment both sides on good plays throughout the match. You get the odd person who tells you to stfu or worse, but generally people are very receptive. It's amazing how quickly you can switch people from the typical gamer mindset to being genuinely great people to each other. People hate toxicity and want more positivity in their lives! You can be a positive force in Valorant. If you are positive in 5 matches a day, that's almost 50 people a day whose lives you are potentially brightening. Your team plays better when you're positive and everyone on both sides has a better overall time. Plus 9 people have friended me due to my positive attitude in the last 2 days! [link] [comments] | ||
Don't just copy crosshair settings! Here's why: Posted: 19 Jun 2020 06:35 AM PDT You crosshair on same settings look different depending on your ingame screen resolution. I think a lot of people are simply not aware of this. In the screenshots you can see what I mean. So if you are copying someones (streamer's, pro-player's) crosshair settings - you should be aware of their game screen resolution and how it compares to yours. So I thought this would be a good thing to share. I realized people are not aware of this simply from the sarcastic comments i get in my games. like "Nice crosshair, Sova, kekw". Etc. I play on a 4 k monitor and the crosshair I have, has comparatively large thickens and length settings. If change resolution to a smaller - more common one - I can see why they think so. Meanwhile the crosshair i see when spectating them - is nearly invisible on my end and would simply get lost on the screen in fights. So here you go. Vipers ult doesn't work with color blind mode. Posted: 19 Jun 2020 12:29 PM PDT I main viper but sometimes her ult ruins it for me. I have a small case of deuteranopia (red-green colorblindness) so the enemy highlight color is yellow (which does wonders for me). But, when I use viper's ultimate all the enemies are marked red, which really makes things worse. Imagine the entire screen is green and then a red guy starts appearing, but you can only see and notice him him once a big enough portion of his body is shown, by that time you'll already be dead. I've lost countless games because of this. Riot please make the highlight the same as color as the normal one. Edit: if there is a way to change it please do tell. [link] [comments] | ||

But the game won't let you. You find a match quickly after you requeue. You are immediately back in the queue and forced to play one out, regardless of whether or not you want to. It doesn't fit the fun mode that spike rush is. It doesn't give you fun or your opponent fun. Its just annoying to have the random noises and not being able to see anything. I think that spike rush is a fun mode, not a deathmatch, but paranoia ruins it. [link] [comments] | ||

Agent concept I made, took 12 hours, opinions would be welcome Posted: 19 Jun 2020 06:58 AM PDT Skills (details below) : Wall portal (2 charges) Opens a portal to go through a thin wall and shows her head on the other side. She can then either go back or get out of the wall, using one more charge. Trapped doll (2 charges) Places down an inert copy of herself that copies her position, her gaze direction and her current action. If this copy is attacked, it blinds every player that looks at it. Duplication (signature skill) Spawns a remote controlled copy of herself that cannot attack. She can then teleport where the copy stands. The sound of the teleportation can be heard from the arrival location. Puppet theater (ult) Spawns copies of all allied players in a large area around the player. Their movements are random and they can't attack. They can trigger recognition systems. Details : GeneralEvery copy emits a black smoke, making it easier to identify. None of these capacities can directly harm enemies, they're meant to trick them. Wall portal Only her head will come out and she's unable to shoot while still in the wall. She has 2 charges, she uses one to go in the wall and has to use another only if she wants to go through the wall. This means she can't go through two walls in the same round, but she can just peak through a wall twice in the same round. There is also a short cooldown after she comes out of the wall, so she can't shoot instantly. Trapped doll She has to aim on the ground to place the copy. When she uses it on a valid location, she has two seconds to take the position she wants. After the two seconds, the copy will mimic the position she took (i.e : if the player is crouching and aiming at north after the two seconds, the copy will also be crouching and aiming at north). The blindness effect is the same as Omen or Reyna's blindness, and it can affect enemies and allies. Duplication (signature skill) The copy's POV is an overlay of the player's POV. instead of controlling their character, the player controls the copy. The reload of this skill works the same as cypher's camera ; if the player TPs or if the copy is destroyed, the cooldown is 40 seconds, but if the players just disables the skill, the cooldown is 15 seconds. Puppet theater (ult) The players spawns a bunch of copies of himself and his allies in an area, so they can rush sneakily or rotate. The copies don't harm the enemies and don't cause any effect, but they can bump into players. Any suggestion would be appreciated, any question can be asked. Tell me what you think of that :) Edit : y'all are right, this character is OP. BUT I think (personal opinion here, may be wrong) there are easy ways to counter it. The skills obviously need balance, but I don't think I'm qualified for that (as I created it and thus can't have an objective opinion) and that's why I'm open to any suggestion from you guys to improve it.
