| Posted: 25 Sep 2020 04:26 PM PDT Hey all! This is just a reminder that there are user flairs that you can use to spice up your username. Until now, you were only able to use one agent flair at a time, but now you can use two! Adding a Flair on PCFirst, you must be on the r/VALORANT subreddit. Look for the "Community Options" or "Flair" settings on the sidebar to the right. For users on old Reddit, you will have to type in the second agent. An example would be,
Note: (Jett and Omen are capitalized for some reason in the flair list and it's too late to change it since so many people are using them so if you type it in just keep that in mind.) Adding a Flair on Mobile AppFirst, you must be on the r/VALORANT subreddit. Tap the 3 little dots in the top right, choose "Change user flair", and then "edit" in the top right. | Posted: 26 Sep 2020 12:25 PM PDT I want to share some positivity about a great group of people I got matched with. We were down 2 - 4 and someone did a "mic check" because we werent communicating and were being steamrolled because of it. I tried to explain in chat that I couldnt talk because I had stitches in my mouth from a biopsy surgery,I expected to get flamed for not talking. What ended up happening was completely different. Everyone was very supportive, saying "f$%^ cancer" and that it was ok. Not only were they very supportive, coms just blew up. Everyone was communicating damage done, where people were, talking pre-round strategy. It was amazing and when we came back and won the game, I told them I loved them and was on the verge of tears. P.S. Im sure someone will ask why I played if I cant talk and the answer is the battle pass. I want to finish it but have 4 more pages to finish :(. Basically you can just chuck a smoke, and if you defuse immediately, the animation for smoke guiding still shows. You don't need to hold the smoke key like you normally would for guiding them. | Posted: 26 Sep 2020 10:49 AM PDT Valorant is the first FPS I have played, and I started about a month ago. My game sense has gotten better and I can understand the enemy movements, but my aim is horrible. Like so bad that I know where a person is and when they are going to peek and even then I'll die. I've been doing aimlab and practicing in the range, but I'm still not consistent with my aim. If you've got any advice on how to improve my aim, I'd appreciate it. | The problem (kinda?) with the Minimap in Deathmatch Posted: 26 Sep 2020 02:24 AM PDT Okay, I get the point of knowing where other players are, but I tend to look at the Minimap too much so I can find players (that's my fault) and I think I'm not the only one. I also tend to find myself in 1v2 situations which are annoying. Also, one side of the map is always full of players while the other isn't. My point is, maybe we shouldn't know where other players are like in the real gamemodes so we can learn to always be prepared for anything, and I wouldn't look at the Minimap as much. We were a party of four Iron players and we got an Silver 2 player on automatch. Our party play quite decently but in this particular match, the phoenix of the opponent who was also in Silver 2 started giving us a hard time. And our Silver2 player started abusing us, and practically blamed us for every lose. In this post I want to inform all those toxic players out there, if you are so concerned about your rank, don't enter solo match making, you won't found any Shroud among iron players. We do as best as we can and don't argue with me, saying I should be playing unrated. Valorant doesn't allow iron and Silver 2 players in the same party, why should we expect a Silver player in the automatching. [link] [comments] | ||

You have to turn on dolby audio and sound in val will sound better than most games. I'm not sure how many computers this works on but my pc is a Lenovo laptop running windows 10.
