I made Sage and Raze as LEGO figures!

I made Sage and Raze as LEGO figures!

Hi all, I recently finished my Raze figure to go along with my Sage figure. Various 3D elements are sculpted, made from electrical tape, or cut up from existing parts. More non-val stuff can be found on my instagram, hope you all enjoy!

We need a "plant", "diffuse", and "give me the spike" voice lines.

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 09:34 AM PST

Many players especially in lower elo don't have mics or they refuse to use them, wich makes the voice commands ingame useful for sharing info.

The lack of these voice commands makes player stop playing to type wasting time and making them easy target. The spike carrier often decides to do something else after we clear the site while not noticing they have the spike so it would be useful to have them.

Agent Ultimate - Who's Who --- Good tip for beginners

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 12:11 AM PST

    Hi!

I figured I'd make a quick lil' post of the voice lines of each Agent to help you distinguish between teammates ultimates and enemies' :)

I know there's made posts like these before, but a little refresher never hurts! c^^,)

    AGENT TEAM MATE ENEMY
Sova I am the hunter Nowhere to run
Viper Don't get in my way Welcome to my world
Breach Let's Goooo Off your feet
Brimstone Open up the sky Prepare for hellfire
Cypher Where is everyone hiding? I know exactly where you are
Jett Watch this Get out of my way
    Killjoy Initiated You should run
    Omen Watch them run Scatter
Phoenix Come on let's go Jokes over, you're dead
Raze Here comes the party Fire in the hole
Reyna They will cower The hunt begins
Sage Your duty is not over You will not kill my allies
Skye Seek them out I've got your trail

EDIT: Due to popular demand, I edited Phoenix's voice line to say "Come on let's go" instead of "Alright let's go" - Y'all are amazing <3

Amount of angles on the badge kinda represents the rank - did you know that?

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 04:37 AM PST

Idk if you know that, but I'm gonna post it anyway. The higher the rank gets, the more angles its badge has.

Iron - 2 (Kind of, its divided onto 2 pieces)

    Bronze - 3

    Silver - 4

    Gold - 5

    Plat - 6

    Diamond - 7

    Immortal - 8

    Radinat - 9

    So yeah, that's it

Riot finally fixed the ranking system

At last, the secret to getting out of low elo:

    1) Have a bang average killjoy game on haven

    2) Go up 15 ranks in 1 win

(if anyone needs a carry I charge $50 per match)

Care about your mental health (tips and tricks)

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 06:37 AM PST

    Hi reddit.

I'm Alex, and my work is usually associated with psychology. Yesterday i've made post with complaing on my teammates. It was deleted, cuz everyone is complayning about smth that make tham anger.

So i want to tell something about TILT. What is it exectly, what to do with it, and how not to TILT while you're playing alot. I hope this sub will be helpful.

So lets start from the begging: Tilt originated as a poker term for a state of mental or emotional confusion or fruatration in which a player adopts a less than optimal strategy usually resulting in the player becoming over-aggresive.

So as in Val or any other games. There is 7 reasons of tilting

    1. Injustice - you are more unlucky than others
    2. Intolerance to looses - you cant stand about any kind of loose.
    3. Mistakes - you understand that you make mistakes, but cannot stop
    4. Narcissism - thoughts that everyone, but you is wrong
    5. Series of failures - just bad day
    6. Revenge - intentionally bad play wit aim of annoing someone.
    7. Despair - the desire to recoup, which drives into a vicious circle.

What to do with a tilt? Its realy simple: First of all - make everything comfortable to you. Look around. Is there something that could annoy you? Is there something that might distract you? Remove this factor first. Next, do some excercise. That will make you easier to focus. Then you went away, because of what you got tilt. Focus on that little thing. Further point by point:

    1. Please understand that 100% wr don't exist. They are divisible by 40 - 40 and 20. Where 40% - is winng without even your participation. Next 40% - is loosing that you cangadly influence. And only 20% of equal games, in wich you have to give all the best to win. And this 20% is and indicator of your wr.
    2. Play not for the win. Its just my advice. Play for your winrate. And always rember about 1st point⬆️⬆️⬆️
    3. Try not to dwepl on the mistakes you made. Analyze them so you don't commit more. Its simple. I'm streaming right for that.
    4. Even if you're Radiant rang. Everyone deservs to win. Do be so selfish. Next time you may not succeed. EVERYONE makes mistakes. E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E
    5. Its better just to dilute a bad day. Take a break, watch some cartoons, take a walk, do yoga. Do something that makes you a little bit happier. Besides the game.
    6. Rethink. Most of us enter the game to rest. Some might do something stupid by mistake. You dont need to insult them, or swear. It's just a game.
    7. It's impossible to recoup in this state of mind. Just take a break. May be for hour, may be for a week. Wait for that mood when you will realy want to play.

Thats all folks :) Take care of your mental health. Its important to all of us.

Riot should add more inspect animations to weapons.

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 07:11 AM PST

I have a ton of radianite obtained from battle pass. it would be hella lit to unlock inspect animations for weapons, (yes for the default skins too) which can be purchasable with radinite. what do you think?

[SUGGESTION] Give us a little brief about our journey during the season at the end of every act

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 06:43 AM PST

Riot could implement a system that give the players a little brief about their competitive matches, such as most played map, average combat score during the whole act, most used weapon and things like that.

Give players a general list of things so we can see how we perform...

Let this list private, this way only you can analyse your performance.

This could be a good way to implement statistics record in game without third parties apps.

What do you guys think about this idea?

    Killjoy Fanart!

    Killjoy Fanart!

    Hi!! My name is Jelly!

I made a Killjoy Fanart 3 months ago and I thought I could share it here ♥ I know it's not the best, but I kinda really like it! Even if I haven't touched Valorant for a while, she's still my favorite. I plan to redraw her soon and make it look better!

I hope you guys like it as much as I did!

    Penalty system for leavers/AFK

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 02:44 AM PST

Honestly there's too many afk/ragequits in both casual and ranked queues. It takes the fun out of the game for me personally and I'm sure many others who've experienced the same.

I understand why it would be complex to add bots in valorant to replace afks but atleast make a harsher penalty system to discourage people from doing this. The CSGO system for example.

4 levels of punishment for leaving a competitive game.

Level 1 - 30 minute timeout from queue.

Level 2 - 2 hour timeout from queue.

Level 3 - 1 day timeout from queue.

Level 4 - 7 day timeout from queue.

With each successive afk/quit your level increases starting from Level 1 all the way to level 4. For every week without committing an offence the punishment level goes down by 1.

So for example those who get the 7 day timeout will have to not leave games mid way for a week after which point their next offence will be a 1 day timeout.

This will greatly discourage players from quitting games. Now there maybe some with legitimate reasons to leave a game and rest assured they'll not exceed level 1 or 2 of the punishment system because it's highly unlikely to have emergencies multiple times when playing the game within a period of a week.

It doesn't have to be the same system but something along those lines would help massively. 4v5's are just ridiculously terrible right now especially considering the rank points gain/loss isn't affected by the numbers disadvantage and the only real compensation is a free small shield in pistol round.

QoL Question: Why is it so hard to tap with the vandal?

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 08:55 AM PST

I was playing counter strike practice maps and the ak47 is so much easier to tap with despite a slightly higher fire rate (10 rounds per second) as compared to the vandal (9.75 rounds per second).

I need to click and let go on the vandal as if I was short hopping as fox in super smash bros melee (which is 1/20th of a second) and its hurts my finger to try to press so lightly. Otherwise a standard click puts out 2 bullets.

I know this isn't gamebreaking or anything, but it sure is annoying, since I like tapping when fighting in longer ranges (without scope).

I really did underestimate the value of having a good friend to queue with

    Posted: 11 Dec 2020 05:17 PM PST

I've only been playing valorant for around 3 weeks, but I only soloq'd and my self esteem game wise was pretty low. My whole play style was really passive and I'd panic shoot every time I saw someone because I was afraid of letting the team down.

So today I decided to play unrated just to chill and I met this guy I really clicked with so we decided to duo q together in ranked. I was hitting all of my shots, doing plays I never thought I'd do because my confidence was through the roof. I even got my first 40 kill game all while cracking jokes with a cool guy I met.

If you're mainly a solo q player and you're struggling with confidence find someone you like to play with, you might just have some potential you haven't unlocked.

Also if that guy happens to be on this subreddit somehow, thanks for making me realise I'm not utter trash at this game [only normal trash F] :,)

As a CS competitive player who joined Valorant recently I have few tips for new players who don't have any idea how to strategy rounds:

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 06:25 AM PST

    • Buy similar weapons to your team mates, handling economy is important.
    • Prioritize best armor over best weapon.
    • Learn your main's abilities in practice and think how you could use them to help your team (little rant about abilities for attackers: don't ever use your abilities to block paths to sites, cost us many rounds)
    • Divide your defense force to each site. There has been numerous times when I had to defend one site alone which ended up costing many rounds for my team.
    • Don't be afraid to use mic or chat to inform your team about your situation. Your voice/words might save the round. It's better to talk too much than to be completely silent.
    • Be ready to move to other site if you notice that the site's defense is in danger (heavily attacked or team mates killed).
    • Change your location on sites each round to eliminate the possibility of enemy anticipating your defense.
    • Choose one main weapon from each category to learn their aim and spray pattern and go for the HEAD.

For those people who say "omg guys how can we lose versus eco buy"

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 06:09 AM PST

The only thing that does is demotivate your team, because now we know you are so bad in the game that you have never won an eco round in your life and don't understand how it can even be possible. So please stop.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

3 good agents to solo queue ? (except duelists)

    Posted: 12 Dec 2020 05:38 AM PST

im a solo queue player and on some maps some agents are a bit difficult in solo q , i dont duelists because someone already instalocks 3 duelists and i have only option to use utility , 3 utility agents that are impactful in solo queue ?
