Idea: Jett should throw on her hood when using her ultimate Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:41 AM PDT I mean, come on. Do I have to elaborate much? I'm not sure if this is an original idea in the slightest but after seeing Astras player model when she throws on the hoodie; I thought it'd be a nice touch for Jett, considering she actually already has a hood. Even Viper has a similar concept applied to her when using her ult puts on her mask. I feel like little things such as this add a lot to the charm and appeal of the game. I would appreciate it if you guys replied with any similar ideas for Jett or any other character that could have some more detail. [link] [comments]
Agent Concept: DaBaby (Serious Description) Posted: 11 Apr 2021 09:52 PM PDT Agent Class: Controller Full Agent Name: Jonathan Lindell Kirk Description: Straight out of the streets of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jonathan "DaBaby" Kirk brings a musical element to combat. You know exactly how he'll pull up like, what he'll turn you into, as he demolishes his enemies, advising them to simply "blame it on Baby." With his team of shooters, he'll take your bombsite and fill it up with "vibes". Ability (C): Convertible: releases a convertible that works like raze boombot but instead of exploding it plays Suge when it gets near enemies (Does NOT damage enemies), messing up their hearing. Convertible drifts around corners and moves at twice the speed of Raze Boombot, lasts for 6 seconds. 8m effect radius. (2 charges, 200 credits, 35s cooldown in between) Ability (Q): Baby on Baby (2 charges): Object takes the shape of the "Baby on Baby" album cover. Place on ground and activate to blind enemies for 1.5s using light reflecting off DaBaby's teeth. The blind effect will take the form of a white ball as it explodes in front of you straight into DaGrille. (3 Charges, 200 Credits, remote activation, no cooldown in between) Signature (E): Packing The Mail Molly: When thrown it has an AoE where if enemies step inside it, they become encased in a cardboard mailing package, where they are detained and vulnerable (double damage) (2s effect) (Enemy cannot defuse or plant while "packing the mail") 8m effect radius. (Ability recharges every 35s.) Ultimate (X): LESSSGOOOO. Friendly voiceline: "LESSS GOOOO" Enemy voiceline: "Bitch It's DaBaby Fella" DaBaby infuses his enemies with the attributes of a convertible. All enemies will be stunned and will move with increased friction for 6 seconds to replicate the movement of the DaBaby convertible. (7 ultimate points) This makes it much easier for DaBaby and his team of shooters to secure headshot kills, or in his words, "push me a lil' fella top back." Voice Lines (Drop ideas in the comments) Agent Select: "I'm goin' Baby on Baby" Start of Round: - Their Omen wants the smoke, I'mma give it to him, no CAP - Phoenix, you got heat, but you not Jetson After winning a clutch: "Baby Jesus ain't die. It's all for my daughter fella" Ability (C): "I would turn a fella into a convertible" Ability (Q): "My diamonds blinding they white" Signature (E): "Packin' the mail, it's gone" Ultimate (X): LESSGOOO (complete with 808s) Killing Skye: "Your bitch is a dog, she got rabies" Killing Killjoy: "I don't got no time" Multiple enemies spotted:

Please quit FF'ing when you are only down 3-6 rounds. Posted: 11 Apr 2021 09:35 PM PDT It's really not that big of a lead. How many times have you lost a lead that big? Or come back. Probably 40% of my games feature a 3-6 round come back. Valorant is so momentum based, leads can be quickly lost. The immediate FF when you are down 5-1, 8-3, 9-6, etc. Is lazy and stupid. Posted: 12 Apr 2021 08:43 AM PDT The title says it. If we can have all of Raze's abilities, Sova's shock darts, why not have Jett's ult as well? In my opinion it's a lot more satisfying to get a kill with Jett's knives than with Raze's showstopper. I'm surprised how it wasn't considered in the first place. [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:39 AM PDT Phoenix is an incredibly strong agent, and I feel like he is being overshadowed by Reyna for no good reason. Phoenix has a wall that cuts off line of sight, and a molly that does good damage. Both of these abilities also heals him to full in seconds, and his wall combos perfectly with his crazy good flashes allowing him to get incredibly clean plays and free kills. Not to mention his ultimate, that gives incredibly good info, but also turns the round into a 5v6, allowing you to trade a free kills or more for free, costing only 6 ult points. I feel like Reyna is just "easier" or more straight forward, and people just don't know how to use his ult well (ulting in dumb spots then getting knifed on respawn). Edit: Reynas invincibility is strong but I feel like it isnt good enough to out rank phoenix, her invinc is a crutch for new or overly aggressive players to get away with terrible peeks Edit 2: When talking about self carry the most important aspect is will your utility give you an edge in the round. Phoenix molly will drive people out of corners 1 free kill. Each flash is a free kill if you lurk or combo w your wall, etc. his ult is a free kill or more, or at the very least gives info for you to kill. That is 3-4 consistent kills (considering his ult is only 6 points) a round, compared to reyna only having 2 consume things and her leer being countered via peeking as soon as it pops up (there is a delay for it to actual start blinding) Edit 3: On a 7 win streak currently (6 matches as Phoenix), went from bronze 2 to Silver 3 in 2 days just from switching to Phoenix https://imgur.com/a/LYcZ0C1 [link] [comments]
How to get to Radiant as a Budget Korean Jett in 500 hours Posted: 12 Apr 2021 09:37 AM PDT I am using this post to gather whether there is enough traction for me to make Advanced video guides on 'How to Play Jett.' In this post, I will share with you three main tips I have learnt which allowed me to push to Radiant as a budget Korean Jett. Korean Jett (aka Seoldam) is widely known as one of the most (if not the most) cracked Jetts in the game due to his unique playstyle focused on rapid dashes combined with fast right clicks. With over 2 million views, he is now synonymous with all cracked Jett Knife plays. Like many wannabe Jetts out there, I was inspired by his gameplay and have practised his playstyle for over 500 hours. 1. Use updraft instead of dash if you are using your abilities to enter a fight The time to pull out your weapon/knives when you are up-drafting is faster than when you dash. What this means, is that if you are taking a fight, you should be up-drafting to high ground rather than dashing. With knives, this means that you want to finish with an updraft (with or without a dash before) to minimise the animation time. For more advanced players, counter-strafing in the air with a weapon during the up-draft speeds up the time to shooting accuracy even further. (2:30 in video) 2. If you or your team needs space, throw a smoke and dash into it Jett's smoke instantly pops and denies enemies of information. If you are stuck in a tight spot, or your team needs you to enter into a site, you should throw a smoke and dash into it. You want to throw your smoke into a location where it is both near physical cover (so that you can protect yourself if things go south) and where it puts the enemy between you and your team (so that they must choose whether to look at you or your team). If you watch pros play Jett, you will see a few common positions where they do this. But, if you follow these two principles, you can make up your own dashes under pressure. When you are dashing you also want to look to the left and right to gain information. After you dash, you will be safe with this information since you are sitting inside your smoke. From there, you can decide whether to wait, and leave your enemy in an uncomfortable spot, or peek out, and kill them. 3. Use your dash when you are around multiple enemies, even without an Operator Jett's strongest ability is her dash. There are two main reasons for this. The most obvious one is that it lets you get out of a tough situation. Most people know that if you are using the Operator, you should dash as soon as you take a shot. What most people do not realise, is that you should do the same with rifles. Seoldam almost always dashes as soon as he shoots any weapon. The reason for this is that he either kills the enemy and escapes or misses and escapes. In both cases, he escapes. If you stay and commit, you have the same two outcomes, except you might not escape afterwards. The second, more advanced reason, is that it breaks information flow between enemies for a split second. This is important when you are going for big Jett Ult plays. You often see Seoldam dash as soon as he gets Ult kills, and somehow follow up with even more kills. Imagine you die to a Jett and you expect your teammate to trade. If the Jett dashes away, your teammate's crosshair placement is ruined, and your teammate is most likely going to start whiffing. This is how teams get right-clicked to death by Seoldam. Hopefully, this guide has helped you out a lot. Here is a playlist of me doing what I have described as proof that I know what I am talking about. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkBJYewm_XA&list=PL9YI2fQrPqCkJVrtP20geiAfAhcd-svc9&index=5 If there is enough traction, I might make a video guide with examples of these tips, along with even more tips! Why is spraying so random in this game? Posted: 12 Apr 2021 03:04 AM PDT Basically title. Before reading this, please keep in mind I'm not hating on the game. Quite the opposite I like it, and I want to play this over CS:GO, but I can't, because gunplay frustrates me and I feel like it will never hold a candle to CS:GO in its current state. Allow me to explain why. In a nutshell, game feels like one glorified ''one tap'' contest with slower movement speeds making flickshots and ferrari-peeking easier. I've reached Diamond by basically spam buying one tap weapons (ghost, sheriff, vandal, operator). In my efforts to get better at spraying, forcing myself to a different playstyle, I actually ranked down back to Platinum because of my poor performance. But what frustrates me is not that I ranked down but spraying in any way shape or form simply felt obsolete. Feels like with assault rifles after my 4th bullet there is a big vertical increase in recoil which I understand compensate properly but there is also a huge amount of horizontal, random spread aswell. Notice that I'm not complaining about the 3rd part of the spray where recoil goes from mostly vertical to horizontal. I'm experiencing horizontal randomness at the second and even first part of my sprays. What makes matters worse is that the time it takes to reset your spray is far too long, which is why as I said in my first sentence, game feels like a glorified one tap contest. Am I missing some key step here? I can spray with confidence in CS:GO but in this game, I actively avoid it and go for effortless one-two taps. So in a nutshell guns go from really accurate to completely random real fast. And if my spray started inaccurate, the rest of it will also be really inaccurate no matter how well I compensate. With this being the case, how do people enjoy gunplay part of the game? Maybe this game is simply not for me, or does the gunplay need some work? [link] [comments]
a friend of mine got the best store. Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:21 AM PDT the prime, glitchpop, and elderflame vandal in the same store, i heard many people are looking for this skins so this is a super rare store in the game also the fourth one is also a premium skin. What are the odds? [link] [comments]
Is it worth buy Vandal/Phantom? Posted: 12 Apr 2021 09:05 AM PDT Me and my friend were discussing about, after winning an echo using spectre and heavy shields, we should buy vandal/phantom. To my mind, its worthy keep using spectre. With spectre we have a few low chance to win, but its possible and if we win, our team will have more money to spend buying others guns for the nexts round. However, if our team buy Vandal/Phantom and still lose, we won't have economy, then not money enough to buy better rifles. He thinks, everyone should buy Vandal/Phantom because we have higher chance to win, and if keep using spectre our team will lose. What do you think? [link] [comments]

The sound with HRTF turned on is better, but still poor Posted: 12 Apr 2021 07:24 AM PDT It's definitely better, but still bad. You still often can't tell which direction someone is coming from. Also, you can't tell how far away an enemy is. I saw that an Audio developer from Riot wrote on reddit that they intentionally made it so that you can't tell the distance of the enemy, because in their eyes it's more important not to miss footsteps in the distance. Quote: "This means we optimize less for understanding how far away a footstep is because that would mean more volume dropoff over distance, which could lead to missing a footstep[...]" "Missing footsteps tends to be much more frustrating when it happens[...]" - PulsarZealot In my opinion its much more important to be able to consistently tell the distance than to overhear a step in the distance. It's mindblowing to me that they see it differently. [link] [comments]
