To literally every single ranked player Posted: 01 Jun 2021 02:20 AM PDT I've seen alot of teams who are decent on defense, fall apart on attack easily. The main reason of this is most players, low or high elo, having not a full understanding of how defaulting works. Alot of people think that defaults are that you send 3 people to the site you want to attack and the other 2 lurk. This is wrong. The correct way is to gather map control as a team, getting info on where the enemies are and deciding where to push. The main goal of this is to split apart the defenders and have a easy site take, compared to 5 man rushing 1 site and having a 5v5 favored to the defender side because they can rotate faster then you can entry. Defending is much easier than attacking in ranked games for this reason because people rarely are coordinated enough to pull something like this off Attacking is easier for the most part in pro play because all of them practice this together and work as a team So if you stomp the defending half and the attack half you find your team falling apart, take a chance to tell your teammates how to attack properly and lead them to the win Unless the enemy have a duelist that just shuts everything you do down, then uh, good luck. Edit: To split apart the defenders you have to have presence all over the map, not just 1 guy at b and 4 at a [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Jun 2021 03:15 AM PDT Why doesn't valorant have a timeout facility in competitive matches. Me and my friends play together and we all agree that a timeout (which players can vote for) should be given if anyone disconnects. If I have some internet issue then the whole game restarts, which takes a long time for me. Timeouts would be helpful in similar situations. [link] [comments]
We can't read your mind, duelists, please ASK if you need anything. Posted: 01 Jun 2021 05:47 AM PDT The amount of games I've played that I've gone an initiator or controller and then had the piss taken out of me because I didn't flash for them or smoke off a not-default line of site is ridiculous. Please, just ask us with the mic you only use to shit talk your own team, and we'll be happy to oblige. [link] [comments]
Replenish Bullets after Strat Time Posted: 01 Jun 2021 06:02 AM PDT Just as classics from the ground disappears after strat time, make the bullets reset as well. Some of us sometimes spray the hell out of the guns and forget to re-purchase before the round starts (yes, we do exist :'D). [link] [comments]

Pt. 2 of my Marshal versus Operator Discussion that 4 People actually cared about Posted: 01 Jun 2021 12:52 PM PDT Seeing the responses of the 4 people that actually cared enough to respond to my post, I'd like to open some extra statements about what I thought about the Marshal's skill requirements and place in the competitive meta. Another point of mine comes in the recent Iceland Masters Grand Finals, which Spoiler, was won by Sentinels against Fnatic in the Final Bracket. And If you can hit Heads just like Tenz did with his constant Marshal Flanks he did on Haven, the Marshal would seem like the same as the Operator with just a tiny bit more effort. So, this Poll is here because I want to see what the majority thinks of the Marshal's Potential. Keep in mind, I am not measuring if the Marshal is a better weapon than the Operator, vice versa. If I was, it would be a pretty unfair fight, since everyone knows that if you can't aim, that extra speed with the Marshal is nothing to the Point-and-Click playstyle of the Op. Episode 1 : Ignition, Episode 2 : Formation Posted: 01 Jun 2021 01:44 PM PDT Episode 3 : Reboot? Tier 48 card on this Battlepass is called Reboot. They're updating Valorant's engine in next update. Also the upcoming agent is hinted to be robot/cyborg. Everything hints at next episode be called Reboot. Very high chance we get another cinematic soon that highlights What's coming in next episode. Cheats ON in Private Deathmatch Posted: 01 Jun 2021 12:25 PM PDT As the title says it would be cool to have the ability to toogle on infinte time in private deathmatch. I do a lot of 1v1 in private deathmatch with a frend and it is super annoing to start the game all over agein when the time is over. [link] [comments]
Why do players switch between knife and gun when it isn't necessary? Posted: 31 May 2021 05:55 PM PDT As the title asks, why do some players switch between their melee weapons and their guns when it isn't necessary and if anything could be harmful to them because they'd have to play the equip animations? A way to prevent insta-lockers Posted: 01 Jun 2021 08:08 AM PDT Put a timer (30s maybe) where you can't lock in a character, and this encourages conversation about team comp before that Jett speedrun's a lock-in [link] [comments] |
