| What's up with Paris in the game lore? New map (eventually)? From new trailer Posted: 17 Jun 2021 11:17 AM PDT In the new agent reveal trailer we get 3 news articles that pop up. The last one is super generic and says the planet is in ruin. The second references Venice saying something along the lines of "after centuries of its rise, Venice sinks" (that's from google translate my Italian sucks). We have ascent so we kind of get what's happening there. But we get an article about Paris despite no French agents, map, or lore. It basically translates to "Paris has fallen. The war is raging." So what's happening in Paris? Is this a teaser to something? Potential next map (not in the next act but whenever we get a map)? [link] [comments] | ||
| PLAY SOVA TO IMPROVE GAMESENSE! (How to get out of a losing streak) Posted: 17 Jun 2021 01:43 AM PDT So lately I went on a fat losing streak, and dropped from Plat 2 to Gold 2. I couldn't figure out what was wrong and after watching hours of YouTube videos, I still could figure out how to get out of my slump. Maybe my confidence was shook? However, after watching a VOD review of mine, I quickly realized that the way I wasn't comfortable playing the agent I was (Reyna). Maybe an insta lock duelist isn't for me. I switched over to SOVA and what I quickly noticed is that I naturally end up doing more thinking. This was because I didn't have to worry about being the first one on the site and clearing every angle. It allowed me to slow down and think before making a move. "There is a high chance the enemy could be here because…" . That's how I started thinking. And over time it improved my game sense a tonnnnn. I am now on an 11 game win streak and am almost back to plat 2. So basically my belief is that IF YOU ARE STUCK IN A SLUMP, try playing a character that allows you to play slower and think more. So 15 + 15 = 30% The Vandal's fire rate is 9.75 rnds/sec 9.75 × 1.3 = 12.675 rnds/sec Imagine shooting the vandal that fast lmao For context, the Phantom's fire rate is 11 rnds/sec and the spectre's is 13.33 rnds/sec. Is this some sort of a meme where you do it every time when the match ends or people are just toxic? All the duelists feel so badass to play, which inevitably makes a popular role even more popular. | Posted: 17 Jun 2021 11:48 AM PDT I think it's been mentioned before on here, but I would LOVE the option to select favorite skins from the Collection and then have the game randomly pick one each game. I buy a lot of the skins and I would like to use them all, but it's annoying to go back and change after every game. I hope others (and the devs) feel the same! [link] [comments] |
