| [Discussion] Russians destroy EU Rated Matchmaking and they can't do anything about it Posted: 03 Jul 2020 04:53 AM PDT Russians are still not allowed to use Voicecomms and it makes Rated so bad that you basically lose if you have 2 Russians in your team that will never have the chance to give comms in the whole game. It is not their fault and they can't do anything about it. I just don't get why Riot can not comply with the Russian law { Edit: as many pointed out riot should not comply with it because it is a bad law. This might be true but this thread is about Riot removing this problem with people that want to play with comms getting matched with 2-3 people that can not communicate in voice even tho they wanted to }. Even CSGO can do it { Edit: apparently they just have no office in russia and dont have to comply }. Or if you are not able to comply with the law at least don't match Russians with other EU players and destroy the Rated Experience. I play in Diamond elo and if you have 1-2 with no comms its such a gamechanger that you lost basically pre round 1 Edit: This problem was brought up multiple times when they enabled Rated in Beta and many people agreed but I guess Riot simply does not care about EU. Edit2: Many people say why are not {insert country here} players banned from using voice. This thread is not about the toxic players. Every country has assholes and this will never change. That's the internet. It is about people that want to communicate are not given the option to do so and destroying the experience for them and the 4 others in the team. [link] [comments] | ||

She's 10 - has been playing games like Fortnite for a couple of years. She is completely supervised while playing and doesn't use the microphone.. but I have encouraged her to use the Ping system which she uses a lot. She's actually a really good Sage - she heals and revives behind walls ... and even walls off choke points mostly correctly. One of her best plays was a 1v1 post plant where she walled off long C on Haven, threw a Slow Orb behind it and defused. It almost bought a tear to my eye. I have a gamer in the making and I will live out my esport professional dreams through her :D EDIT: My daughter is losing her mind at the attention this got. She's very happy. Not everyone would be willing to supply their phone number to play on a throwaway account. This could help to stop cheaters who find a workaround for hardware bans too, because they would need to find a different phone number to use. Free temporary phone number services could be blocked. If you want to win, you have to communicate to make plans, warn, and support. Even though you are in a discord call, you have to talk with your random teammate. It was 4v5 from the get go and we can't even FF because that results in a straight 13 win/loss which is an even bigger ELO hit. If someone doesn't connect, the match really shouldn't count. Nothing more tilting than sitting in a game for 20~ mins being boned. League already has this, if the person doesn't connect within 3 minutes of the game starting, the game can be voted to be scrubbed by the short handed team. [link] [comments] | ||
