Is it just me or it is hard to tell if a sound is coming from our front / our back in this game?

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 09:36 PM PDT

Hey, i'm using original samsung galaxy note 3 earphones and i could listen to 3D audio such as this tucker zone or dolby atmos test just fine.

However, when i play valorant i often find it difficult to tell if someone is coming from our front or our back (especially when the type of floor is the same in both direction, such as the bottom floor of A site Split or sands floor in Bind)

Of course, right vs left is easy but front and back is very difficult for me. Is this issue lies in my earphone? If yes, what is the cheapest headphone you would recommend to improve upon my issue?

Edit : i contacted CS about this problem and give them the links to this thread. I also have sent the logs like asked me to, and they will look into it. You can submit a ticket here , maybe more game logs will help them figure out what's wrong

Let Breach equip his fists in the melee slot instead of a knife.

Look at the size of his cyborg arms and tell me a puny little knife could do more damage than those absolute units.

A big thank you to everyone who is nice and cooperative in coms.

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 10:17 PM PDT

As a person who is on the younger side, I have a pretty high voice. I get a lot of hate and comments made about it, such as imitations and interruptions whenever i try to speak. However, there are always people out there who call them out and tell them to stop. Example, in my last game I asked a cypher to cam garage with me and he started sayin stuff like "shut up kid" "ok squeaker". Until my our Reyna helped me out and told him to stop. We should have more people like our Reyna but alas there's nothing we much we can do. So I just wanted to thank everyone who's been nice to people in Valorant in the post. Thank you!

For the love of God, let me appear offline

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 04:50 PM PDT

I love playing with friends. But every once in a while it's nice to just chill and solo queue. It feels like every time I log in I get 50 invites. Then I feel like a jerk when I bail on them. I would love an option to appear offline so I can play in privacy from time to time. I would love to see this feature

Edit: not trying to popularity flex here. 50 invites was an exaggeration 😄

Hacker spectating entire match can't even report him as he's not even in the game

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:15 AM PDT

So just got into a comp game with a hacker in the other team, whereby he was literally typing our team every single move into chat. We could not even report him as he wasn't even in the player list. Imagine during the buy phase i drop bomb to my teammate and he's like exactly after nice bomb drop. Same thing when we're on a site before the round starts he would call out all of our positions.

    We really need Valorant lore

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 03:44 AM PDT

We have eleven agents saying catchphrases about their past and done for months and all we have about the game's story is a short video implying that Phoenix was hired by someone to get a "package" and Jett for some reason the stole, with the fight between the two causing an accident that made a place in Italy "float". I mean, is that enough? Are we never going to have comics or short films (5 or 8 minutes, not 2) about how Brimstone saved the guy from his cover? What happened to Cypher's family, how Omen became a ghost? Come on Riot, do you invest so much in the details of LoL's story, now that you have a chance to create something new will you limit it to 2 minutes of animation? I hope my opinion is not unpopular guys.

    Italian gives you hacks.

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 11:44 PM PDT

I play in English? Trash player, miss every shot. Switch game to Italian, a language that I don't understand but that has cool accents? Easy. Rounds. Top frag every game, instant promote. Conclusion: Italian gives you hacks.

Cypher Fanart drawn with wooden pencils

I hope you can enjoy the effort that got put into this artwork. Cypher is by far my favorite character, although I don't main him (my friend is cypher main and he's really good with him, I became a brimstone main)

I worked ~17 hours in total on this piece

and yes I suck at drawing backgrounds.

    Have a great day :)

Is it just me or is FPS drops still a problem?

    Posted: 27 Jul 2020 04:16 AM PDT

I have a good computer, i dont know the specifications (i dont really understand all of that) but i can play ARK Survival Evolved on high and still get around 100-120FPS, but Valorant everthing on low and still cant get more then 50-60 FPS especially in first few rounds my FPS goes below 30.

EDIT: my brother helped me out with specifications so here you go: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT 3.9GHz

    MOTHERBOARD: ASUS PRIME B550M-A

RAM MEMORY: 32GB CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 3200MHz RGB (2x16GB)

    COOLING: CORSAIR H60 Hydro Series

SYSTEM FAN: CORSAIR LL iCUE RGB

GRAPHICS CARD: NVIDIA 8GB GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER

STORAGE DRIVE: 1TB Samsung 860 PRO Series

POWER SUPPLY: CORSAIR 1000X RMI SERIES PLUS GOLD

Do y'all think after this act there will be some kind of career tab where you can see what your rank was and maybe records or anything like that to look back at your previous seasons

Unpopular Opinion: Cheaters are more prevalent in competitive than we think.

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 11:26 PM PDT

There's three different types of cheaters:

    • Those who give teammates info(making it harder to know which player is actually cheating)

    • Those who use their cheats in a way to let them win the game in a closer fashion, rather than 13-0 and make it obvious

    • Those who don't give a single shit and make it very obvious

I've ran into way too many players who give the enemy team too much credit, meanwhile their prefires as well as their reaction time(regardless of peekers advantage) is literally inhuman. This anti-cheat system relies too heavily on the report system.
