If people are saying they are having trouble completing the battlepass during the summer. A lot more are going to have trouble with it when school/college starts back up.

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 07:10 AM PDT

If your battlepass demands that you need to play Valorant and only Valorant and it requires so much XP that people can't even complete it in the summer. A lot more people are not going to be able to complete it in about a month from now when school starts back up.

Now I know some people do have a lot more time on their hands but people have jobs and will be going back to school.

If people are struggling with it now during the summer how do you expect people to complete it with school restarting as well.

Hiko is the unluckiest player in the history of NA FPS

    Posted: 25 Jul 2020 06:06 PM PDT

To start, I think we could all agree that Hiko is a great individual and team player. He has been mostly consistent in CS and even brought Liquid to a major final, the first time that a NA team reached such level. He is a good support player, clutcher, and entry fragger. He also played a huge part in s1mple's success by bringing him to liquid. In short, on an individual level, Hiko is the archetype for one of the most successful CSGO players.

However, when you look at Hiko's roster history and results, it seems to me that he is often let down by his teammates. First, his dream team, IBP, was banned for throwing. Then the Liquid era, and we all know how that went: chokes after chokes. Hiko was not to blame for any of those games. His time in Rogue is probably the worst of all. After Rogue was gaining success after months of inactivity, the Danish people on his team left because they want to go back to Denmark. He moved to Vegas for Rogue, practiced all day and gave up much of his streaming time which would yield much more money, and yet he was betrayed by his team.

Now Valorant. He is still arguable one of the best players in the game. After getting signed to 100T, the organization decided to put him on a roster of PUBG players. Hiko said himself that it wasn't really his call to make up the team. And shown by the recent performance of 100T, I think its safe to say that they will probably never reach the top in the next 3 years.

People abusing raze friendly fire damage should get punished/banned.

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 07:38 AM PDT

Seriously, it's ridiculous. You tell them, they don't blast pack so close to us you will damage all of us, and guess what. They continue to do it and do it intentionally just to damage you. And they lob grenades at you when you defuse or blast pack away from the spike you to steal the defuse. It's so unfun to play with these raze players.

The worst part about it is you report them for "Sabotaging the team" and it does fuck all. Either riot game takes reports marked with "sabotaging the team" into some kind of a list where they will deal with it later, simply don't care or it doesn't even work at all (not surprising really).

The amount of second hand embarrassment I had while playing last night was unreal.. do you have any crazy voice comms stories?

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 11:41 AM PDT

Not sure if this goes here but last night I was playing with a Jett (a dude in college), a Reyna (little kid, probably around 8), and a Cypher and Sage that didn't use their mics.

Business as usual, Jett and I are talking crap on voice comms while Reyna talks about fortnite. About halfway through the game, Jett asks Reyna if his parents are divorced. I was like broo chilll. Reyna says yeah. Jett asks if it's the kid's fault. There's a long pause. The kid says, "I don't know why my parents got divorced.." I ask Reyna if he's okay, he responds by asking if I play fortnite. Jett asks him how he feels when he sees a belt. At this point I'm like holy shit I'm just going to start making callouts and change topics.

Jett later says that he's having trouble at college because he's a misogynist (as a joke).

Eventually, sage is making some big brain plays, and Reyna says "she's so good!!" I was like, "how do you know she's a girl?" Kid was right, she uses voice comms for the first time saying "yeah how do you know I'm a girl?" I bet that misogyny joke wasn't so funny anymore

In the last few rounds, I advised Reyna to turn off his voice comms because strangers on the internet are mean.

Cyphers mic comes on for the first time, "my mic wasn't working earlier, it's okay he's with me." I was like "oh then it's fine, who are you?"

    "I'm his dad."

Shiiiiiiiiiit... Jett didn't use his mic again that game

Edit: u/cyberpoutine gives a good TLDR here if the story might be confusing

If you are being overly toxic in Spike Rush, follow these steps please.

    Posted: 26 Jul 2020 04:18 AM PDT

    1. Breathe and think about how you can win the game.
    2. Have some fun while you're playing.
    3. Shut the fuck up, no one wants to hear you talk.

    very simple guide guys!

What happens to cypher if he ults 2x in a round?

So when cypher ults he throws his hat onto a body & he doesn't have his hat for the rest of the round, right? What happens if it's a spike rush & gets 2 ult orbs? Does his hat magically reappear??

I feel like you Reyna mains got the best deal out of all of these because she has so many details and belts that I just couldn't NOT include.

Decide what agent I should do next cause I have ideas for all of them but no favourites.

You should never say this to anyone. If some poor guy has 0 kills they are likely upset enough about it. I'm a dad playing with my kids and even I was sad about someone being so toxic over a game. Just a PSA.

Have you ever wanted to plant the spike anywhere on the map?

As Pheonix, you plant the spike anywhere on the map. As run it back ends you plant the spike where it started.

met the coolest enemy team in an unrated

My friends and I hopped on Valorant after not playing for three days and decided to do some unrated, and we met the sickest enemy team. Had some knife fights and wholesome ggs. Their Jett was nice enough to take this picture of all of us with Phoenix and Omen (^:

Player who are ban from voice chat should be forced to play together

    Posted: 25 Jul 2020 05:48 PM PDT

TL;DR -> I personally think that people who are comms ban should be penalized and forced to play a certain amount of ranked games, or a limited time frame, with people who are also comms ban.

Having a teammate who is comms ban is a major disadvantage

I have played so many ranked games recently where someone on my team has been comms ban. If someone on my team is comms ban, it hurts our teams communication, when the other team probably doesn't have a person who can't speak. Granted there are other players who you play with that don't speak or have a mic, but having someone who is comms ban on your team is a complete disadvantage.

    Dota 2 low priority system

Dota 2 has a system called Low Priority. For those who don't know, low priority is a penalty administered when a player has abandoned a game multiple times, or a player has been reported multiple times. Its an in-game griefing detection system that notices a pattern of bad behavior for every player. Those players that are placed into low priority have to play through 5 games and win those games in order to get out of low priority.

I think Valorant should adopt a system similar to dota 2's low priority system. I am not talking about the same system but one with similarities to it.

The comms ban player can still communicate

These people that are comms ban are STILL able to communicate with people. They invite me to join their squad and when I do, I get raged at. Clearly I can be the only person this has happened to. If you are comms ban, you should not be able to communicate AT ALL. I have no idea why they would be able to speak in party chat. People who are already in a party will probably be using discord or teamspeak. I don't know many people who actually use the squad voice chat.

For anyone wondering I am diamond 1 bracket and I am mainly referring to ranked game play. A lot of people communicate at higher ranks than lower ranks.

Edit Sentence: "players that are placed into low priority have to play through 5 games and win those games in order to get out of low priority"
