Sound needs to be in my personal opinion, the number one thing worked on right now Posted: 07 Aug 2020 11:34 PM PDT Out of everything that needs to be worked on with the majority of resources, I believe in my opinion that sound needs to be highly prioritized right now. Skins, they got that in spades, we have no lacking content in skins and the battle pass has some top tier ones. Hit registration has been explain and being worked on for better clarity. Sound needs to be top priority right now. Sound is only second to hit registration. It is a huge deal and makes a huge difference. "loud steps behind me" oh it was actually in front of me. "sounds in front of me" nope was actually them running in ct. Sound is way to big a deal to be put on the back burner. When I hear someone I should understand their direction and their aprox distance. A lot of games do this very well but not this one. No disrespect at all on the devs. I know this is on there list and will be fixed eventually but I think it needs to be at the top of the list. Since hit registration is basically working as intended with the exceptions, I think sound absolutely needs to be at the top of the to do list asap especially since this is a competitive game. Edit: Redditor advised me to add this as an example. Thanks Baat_Maan If you are playing Haven and someone plants B, It's very hard to tell if it was planted B or one of the the other 2 sites. Killjoy x Raze rivalry and the possible reference to the infamous "7:1" Posted: 08 Aug 2020 09:44 AM PDT As soon as Killjoy was announced I was absolutely thrilled because I LOVE her design and wanted to know more about her asap. Not long after I found out that Killjoy was german and had a friendly rivalry with Raze, which caused a little bulb to lit up on my head instantly! If you guys are unaware, at the 2014 World Cup, Brazil and Germany competed in the semifinals where Germany kicked Brazil's ass), scoring 7 goals to our 1. This has been memed here in Brazil ever since, a popular phrase being "Everyday is a different 7:1" to show exasperation at unfortunate events. This was obviously just a small theory and a fun fact that I thought was a coincidence until I finally saw Killjoy's turret. Do you see the little bird painted in there? Well, if you don't know about Canarinho (lit. "small canary"), it is the mascot of the Brazilian Team who went through a redesign in 2016, making it look angrier (people started calling it "Canarinho Pistola" in social media, pistola being somwhat foul slang for "very angry"), which led to people meme that the cause of its anger was the 7:1. Obviously I can't confirm this was intentional but it seems very likely to be and I greatly appreciate Riot for doing their research and adding such flavor to the relationship between these characters. Passive play in ranked and why you should trade out everywhere Posted: 08 Aug 2020 09:00 AM PDT It's incredibly frustrating to play ranked since I think many players lack a basic understanding about what it takes to win in Valorant. Due to the map design and other design choices (no set sprayed pattern etc), the most overpowered thing on offense is to push together and trade out defenders. Unfortunately because passivity and a lack of confidence is so prevalent in lower/mid ELO, players play way too passive and aren't willing to entry. Even if you're not a entry you should wide swing or try to trade whoever is entering in order to get an easy follow up frag. As long as you have proper spacing, it's really hard for a defender to get a 2-3x person spraydown so you're going to benefit with a lot of easy kills and bomb plants on offense as a result. Posted: 08 Aug 2020 09:23 AM PDT If your team is asking for a Sage and you feel you'd bring more to the table as somebody else, pick somebody else. Far too many people get pressured into picking Sage and massively underperforming as a result (which is far from their fault). Personally I would much rather you pick a character you're comfortable with because tactically you're more useful, whereas a confused sage can bring far more harm to a team than help for example a botched sage wall or missed slow orb can easily lose can rounds. So if you're someone begging for a Sage or feeling it's your responsibility to play her despite not wanting to, please don't :) enjoy the game and enjoy your character(s). [link] [comments] | ||

I am sick of having incompetent and toxic teammates that are borderline useless. A trust factor type system would be great for filtering people so that people with bad behaviours are matched with others. You could also have a select queue for children so that they are kept from the main queue both for their own and for other's mental wellbeing. Would be awesome right? I can only dream. Such a thing would be great for the future of Valorant. A similar system could be used for suspicious player skills (hackers) without fully banning them (when riot does not have sufficient evidence). When you die and open the map to ping the enemies location the map change its orientation to go back to « default » and thus mess with my ping at least once or twice a game. But me and a friend have NVIDIA GPUs and it's frame dropping like crazy since the update. You just have to place either the turret or the nanoswar on the floor where the door would be triggered to be opened. It wasn't that surprising, that the turret would opened the door, but I didn't think that the Nanoswarm had the same effect. Thx for your attention. [link] [comments] | ||

It is near perfect accuracy if you tap or burst fire with the phantom/vandal. There have been numerous times when me or a teammate has just been bopped in the head from an enemy jiggle peeking on ropes. Anyone feel the same way? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 07 Aug 2020 02:52 PM PDT The agent contract skins in my opinion are a little bland and are only to show how much you grind but I've been thinking that a way to make them a lot better is to be able to upgrade them with 10 radianite points to give them their own custom finisher. An example woulds be Brimstones sheriff would have a tiny orbital strike as the finisher or razes classic makes them explode like her grenade. I know it wouldn't be much but i feel it would give the contract skins a lot more personality and another reason to grind an agents contract. Please riot I'm begging you [link] [comments] |
