| Posted: 04 Sep 2020 11:13 AM PDT Hello, I am an Ethiopian gamer and I really love Valorant and there are many African gamers who love the game. But I really don't like what riot games is doing rn. The EU has already more than 10 servers but they add more and more servers to the EU but while here a whole continent of gamers are struggling and suffering from the high ping caused by the lack of a single server in the continent. Personally speaking, I have a really good internet connection(for those of you who think there is no internet in Africa) and i play other fps games like csgo with good latency. But when it comes to valorant, my ping is 250 - 300 during day and 145 - 190 usually after midnight. So to get a good gaming experience, I play after midnight which is why my sleep schedule is so fucked up right now. Thanks Riot. I hope they install one server for this poor, ALWAYS forgotten continent with a lot of potential. [link] [comments] | ||

I asked him what was wrong and what can we do to help him after that we made a few adjustments and he clutched one round and we won the game! | The OP/AWP meta is a snoozefest Posted: 04 Sep 2020 12:47 PM PDT Anyone else slowly getting bored of this game's disappointing OP/AWP meta that has been created with little intentions of slowing down? If you take Brim and Omen, you are limited to 5/6 smokes. While that seems like a lot, on nearly every map you will want to use smokes to accomplish different tasks, not leaving much room to smoke heavens, long, etc. There is no penalty for AWPing into a smoke multiple times. Flash? Well, that's where we have created another slightly annoying meta in Breach. There is little reward from turning away from the flash unless you're on 1600 DPI, and even then you still have residual flash. Moreover, there a shitton of places to AWP from. Split is about the only map that has a decreased amount. Ropes, mail, A heaven, ramps, screens, B site/B heaven. Playing Bind? Good luck smoking truck, Uhaul, Long B, CT, backsite of B, Heaven and also using smokes strategically to take a site. Honestly, I loved this game, but I am slowly starting to fall out of favor with it. The AWP meta has ruined it for me. [link] [comments] | ||
| A suggestion to make Viper feel more viable in higher play Posted: 04 Sep 2020 08:03 AM PDT The buffs to Viper in general have been quite nice, however as most people already feel after each buff, it doesn't quite fix her core issue and make you feel like you can choose her over Omen/Brim. That issue being that once you've laid down your utility, you are basically useless if you are forced to rotate which is extremely common in higher mmr games (I'm Immortal 2). Her actual utility when used on a push actually feels really good, it completely slices up a site and allows you to worry about less angles when entering, it's also pretty great if they try and push your site on CT and you have a one way ready + 2 acid to buy time. I think if she was given the KillJoy treatment of being able to hold down E and Q to regain her utility after a 20-25 sec CD, she would regain agency on rotations and actually feel useful again. Meanwhile Brim/Omen usually have a smoke up for a rotate ready to smoke off CT or wherever they expect them to come rushing back from. Only other suggestion that'd be nice is if her utility stayed up for a few seconds after dying, feels actually awful to slice up a site and then feel like I have to stay safe to keep the utility going, meanwhile Brim/Omen can smoke everywhere needed then aggressively support the entry fragger because their job is done. Just my own thoughts anyway from previously spending way too many hours on her and almost never seeing her used in ranked, feel free to debate it. [link] [comments] | ||

And to top it all off the valorant matchmaking system is so shit it doesn't even realise that a guy with 0 kills and 2,024 econ rating was an afk person and it gives you rating decreased 2x down arrows. [link] [comments] | ||
