Valorant 1.10 Bug Megathread Posted: 13 Oct 2020 10:10 AM PDT Greetings Agents! New patch, new Bug mega. To avoid bugs report cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed we will get a single Megathread which will be posted today and after every patch so that you guys can report the various issues in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered. Patch notes 1.10 Prerequisites to be noted before reporting a bug A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it. Format when reporting a bug: When reporting a bug, please provide as much information as you can about your computer. • Region: The region you're playing in when you encountered the bug • Type of Bug: Client Bug, In Game Bug, etc. • Description: Describe what was the bug that occurred. • Video / Screenshot: Insert screenshot (F12 in game) or Video of the bug occurring. • Steps to reproduce: Provide the steps necessary if someone else had to reproduce the bug. • Expected result: What should have been the result when you follow the steps mentioned above. • Observed result: What was the result you obtained when you followed the steps mentioned above? • Reproduction rate: If you try to recreate the bug how successful are you in causing it to occur? (1/10 : Occurs once every 10 tries, 5/10 : Occurs 5 times out of 10, 10/10 : Happens every single time) • System specs: Processor, Video card, Ram, HDD/SSD, everything you can provide, even drivers. Example Bug: • Region: EU • Type of Bug: Matchmaking • Description: Matchmaking doesn't work properly • Insert Video / Screenshot of the incident • Reproduction rate: 10/10 (happened 10 out of 10 times) • Steps to reproduce: Try to launch a game • Expected result: Match starting • Observed result: Getting stuck in infinite queue • System Specs: Intel i5 Processor, Windows 7, Nvidia Graphics card (insert model number) etc. If you don't know how to format comments on Reddit click here - **Region:** - **Type of Bug:** - **Description:** - **Video / Screenshot:** - **Steps to reproduce:** - **Expected result:** - **Observed result:** - **Reproduction rate:** - **System specs:** Copy paste the above code and fill in your details. Failed Purchases & Other Known Issues for Patch 1.10 Posted: 13 Oct 2020 10:19 AM PDT Hi everyone! It seems that this newest patch shipped with some unintended bugs. The main one that seems to be affecting players is the fact that purchases in the item shop are not working and this post will be updated with any other notable issues as the day goes on. Please note that this thread is more of a current issues thread/PSA more than a bug report thread. TAKE AFKs DURING RANKED GAMEPLAY INTO CONSIDERATION Posted: 13 Oct 2020 06:15 AM PDT Surely I can't be the only one who finds it rather unfair/annoying to get demoted while solo queuing in competitive gameplay because my teammates suddenly decide that they don't want to play and I spend the entire game playing 4v5 or even 3v5. With an unlockable VFX style that adds physics to the water within the gun, moving arround will make some slight movement and splashing water. Do Not Go AFK With Autoclicker Posted: 13 Oct 2020 12:09 PM PDT Today I had a kid who spent at least 30 minutes of the match AFK with an autoclicker on, confirmed by his duo partner. His reasoning when he came back was that we shouldn't be annoyed because it was just unrated. To anyone who does this and thinks it is okay, you are robbing your team and benefitting the enemy even more than if you simply disconnected. If you disconnect your team gets extra money, they get shields on pistol round, and they get an ult orb every round. On top of that, by being AFK and remaining in the game the enemy receives more money for killing you than they would if you were disconnected. I don't know if an autoclicker/macro counts as a third party program, but if it does, he had over $100 worth of skins. ​ Edit: I think it's worth mentioning that while it is "just unrated" ranked simply wasn't available due to the fresh patch. submitted by /u/Madra_Salach [link] [comments]
