AI bots should be introduced in custom games.

It would be good if AI bots are added in custom games so that rookies can practice the angles and crosshair placements in different maps. It would also helps in improvising our headshots, and our movement across the maps. Also the bots can be made more challenging by setting different difficulty level, which the player can adjust according to his/her own convenience.

Best Omen cosplay ever, 10/10 would scatter

Best Omen cosplay ever, 10/10 would scatter

Hello, I present to you my Omen cosplay, hope you enjoy. I think it really captures the way omen is equally creepy and comedically pitiable. Omen is one of my favourite characters as nobody else picks smokes and you can still play aggressively with him (unlike Brim).

This cosplay was sponsored by Monster Energy, just like omens face.

Best advice I ever got from my Radiant friend: 1 strike rule

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 09:44 AM PST

A month ago, my Radiant ranked friend gave me a piece of advice that I immediately implemented and have found enormously helpful in ranked play: 1 strike rule for muting players at their first hint of toxicity or negativity. After starting to do this, in a month I haven't once experienced an overly toxic event that has "ruined my gaming night".

The 1 strike rule is important because you are not waiting for a player to be "too toxic" or waiting for them to completely abuse you or a teammate before you mute them. No, you literally mute them the very first time they say anything negative.

But dude, you might ask, aren't you ruining your chances of winning by immediately muting a teammate when voice comms are so important in this game? No, not at all. Muting 1 person in solo queue pub really isn't going to affect your chances of winning all that much. More importantly, what will REALLY affect your chances of winning is tilting because some douche is screaming at you for failing to clutch. And for a lot of people, it not only causes them to lose the game their playing, but it puts their whole night on tilt causing them to lose future games as well. I've also noticed that streamers do this as well, even in Radiant rank. They will instantly mute people the first time they are toxic. If so many Radiant ranked players can do this and they are still ranked high, then surely you can do it in Plat rank?

So, try it. 1 strike rule. Mute people the first time they say anything toxic or negative to you or a teammate. You'll have a far better gaming experience.

I think this one looks cooler than the last one, what do you think? Comment if you want to, and I hope you like this illustration!

Why is there a poison cloud cooldown when "infinite abilities" are turned ON?

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:26 AM PST

It is really hard to practice Viper's smokes (poison clouds) in a custom game because there is this annoying 10-second cooldown before you can throw it again after you pick it up from the ground.

There is no such cooldown for Cypher's cams, Killjoy's tourettes but for some reason, Viper's smoke has one. Why can't we get rid of it when "infinite abilities" are turned ON in "cheats"?

Also, it would be really nice if we could pick up our walls (toxic screens) when infinite abilities are turned ON rather than restarting the whole round to do so.

These two simple quality of life changes would make it much easier to practice Viper lineups in a custom game and possibly, more people will start playing her and making their own lineups.

QoL: Brimstone and Omen should be able to ping while using Sky Smoke/Orbital Strike or Dark Cover/From the Shadows

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 08:39 AM PST

QoL buff that makes it easier to coordinate with teams on where they are smoking and using ults.

Without it, Valorant is e-sports NOT ready.

    Practice Range during Queue?

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 11:16 AM PST

I don't know if this is already been addressed somewhere, but I feel like being able to go into the practice range while in queue would be a fun way to pass time while waiting the couple minutes. An example being Overwatch, where you can join deathmatch, the practice range, or custom games.

Is it just me or has the amount of hackers in ranked games increased?

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 11:27 PM PST

It's one thing to smurf a silver/gold lobby but when you're trying to shoot me at the beginning of a round in Haven from T spawn window while I'm at the back of B sight behind the middle metal container towards C connector it's a bit suspicious. It's more suspicious when your unranked in a gold lobby and top fragging with 100 ping and prefiring/headbanging nearly every shot and the only way you die is when you're ganged up from different angles by 2-3 people all the while you taking down 1 or 2 persons.

Different scenario on Icebox, enemy Reyna kills me and 3 of my teammates with 1 headshot plus 2 body shots on all of us. Our Reyna cut over to B to try and flank and is just trying to save. Enemy reyna starts running towards our Reyna without even shifting walking or looking around. She knows exactly where our Reyna is and runs directly towards them. I mean, at least try and hide the fact you toggled?

I try to be as lenient as possible and give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you're just popping off, maybe you're having a great game. Or maybe you're just a tiny-penis smurf. After all, there's a ton of smurf accounts in lower ranks (why people do this is still beyond my comprehension) but in spite of this, I feel like I'm running into a lot of aim-assist/wall hackers now. Hopefully it's not my cynicism.

I don't feel like being gaslit into thinking I'm being crazy so, while I appreciate comments and feedback I just wanted to post this for anybody else that might feel the same as I do or have run into similar scenarios.

Basically what the title says, I made Omen using skindex. Image link below :D

Using jump and updraft (as Jett), at the EXACT same time, results in the highest jump from a single updraft.

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 03:32 PM PST

    Basically as the title says.

This is compared to just (1) updrafting, (2) jumping and then updrafting, and (3) updrafting then jumping (if that is even a thing).

I just realized this while I was in the Shooting Range at the walls just directly outside with the three arches. A single updraft couldn't get me up, a jump followed by an updraft (at the peak of the jump) couldn't get me up, but a jump and updraft at the same time could easily get me on the wall. Try it yourself!

Not too sure if this small detail is well-known but it was new for me!

    Separate agent binds

    Posted: 17 Nov 2020 11:03 PM PST

I come from OW and other FPS like CS, and I think for Valorant it would be extremely nice and a quality of life to have Separate binding settings per agent like in OW, I use mouse wheel up and down for jump but when it comes to playing as Jett in order to float I need to use space, just food for thought

SEA has the most toxic players

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 03:39 AM PST

Ive seen teammates and enemies getting trashtalked all the time just for being a beginner on the game. I have seen some players quitting just because they cant handle the toxicity of smurfs playing on lowrank and unrated games. Like, why do smurfs go to lowrank just to give to say that they are better😷

I know its part of the game but f***, those toxic players is ruining the fun for others. Riot need to make actions about smurfs asap.

Is it me or is it harder to climb during the night?

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 06:37 AM PST

Ive been hovering plat 1/2/3 for the longest time, but just last night I decided to play late into the night. Least to say, it was horrible. I encountered golds and even SILVERS who completely wrecked me. Honestly, the lobby felt like a plat lobby. I ended up dropping from plat 2 to gold 2 within an evening.

Can anyone else attest to this? Are players in general better during the night? It makes me not want to climb during those hours anymore.

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 10:27 AM PST

    Hi guys,

I'm 27 with 8900 XP remaining + 2 weekly missions and I feel like I'll never be able to end this pass (it's my first one). I used the excel file made on another post and it tells me that following my progression, I should end it on february.

So I would like to know where you guys actually are in term of BP progression?

What do each of the agents say when they get an Ace?

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 09:13 AM PST

I was wondering what each of the agents say when they get an Ace. I know that Viper says, "You aksed for a villain, I gave you a villain". I'm not sure what the other agents say. Can you guys help me with this? I'm a Killjoy main and I haven't really got a lot of Aces to know what she says. I also know that Reyna says "Yes" and starts laughing.
