    I have been using the 1-strike rule in which when a player shows toxicity the first time, I mute them instantly. I also do my part as a player to report players who are toxic, griefing, and those who are afks. I think I have already reported a lot of players for these kinds of behavior and I think it would be nice if I know that they have already received penalty. A lot of players are really toxic and it ruins the game especially for beginners. They could also introduce something like the honor system on league which might stop people from being toxic.

    ScreaM popping off 4k winning the round

    Finding lineups for Viper wall and poison orb is extremely excruciating in the current state

    Usually finding lineups happens in customs with cheats on.

    Viper's wall CANNOT be retracted. Throwing the wall and then trying to throw a different wall REQUIRES that you end the round, trigger ghost, go back to the same position is before, throw the wall again, and just like that spending one minute to try every wall lineup.

    Viper's poison orb can be picked up with a 4-5 second cooldown. Killjoy usually has the same cooldown logic when picking up abilities but when cheats are on the cooldown is non existent. I don't understand why Viper has to have that cooldown whenever she picks up the poison orb especially if cheats are on it makes nooo sensee. Also it's required from Viper whenever the poison orb is thrown to fly to where it landed and pick it up and go all the way back to original position.

    What makes a Viper a good Viper is knowing how and where to place your utilities so at least make the experience of finding those lineups decent @Rito

    I used to be a Phantom boy through and through. I saw all the obvious benefits (silencer with no tracers, can shoot through smokes easy) but for some reason lately I've been getting held back by not finishing kills.

    I had been trying to be mindful of crosshair placement, been doing more aimlabs, you name it. But I kept dying to someone I would hit for 120, 140, 145... and then watching them clutch the round out because I didnt delete them from the server with a kill.

    Insanely frustrating, especially since my goal was just to get back into silver this season since I only play comp now and went from Silver 3 down for Iron 3 (Y'all ever heard of Off-White? I'm just gonna call this rank "Off-Silver" to make myself feel better)

    Well yesterday, I was warming up in deathmatch and was getting annoyed I wasn't finish kills again... so I said "eff it, lets try the Vandal"

    oh buddy

    Though I didn't win... I got 39 and just barely lost to the other guy who I was keeping pace with.

    Took this newfound revelation to comp. Hit a win streak and finally hit silver again!

    Something about that guaranteed headshot kill no matter what... hits different. I'm still laughing about dinking a Brim trying to OP us at A main on Split from CT and just running, stopping and dinking him in the head for the kill and we took site no problem.

    Gonna ride this out for as long as I feel like I'm performing better with the Vandal lol

    I am sick to death of the imbalance of match making to this day

    I'm not even just talking about getting "questionable" teammates. It goes the other way around as well. I'm gold 1 and just played a game against a plat player with an immortal 2 boarder? Like really? I'm sure it's different for higher ranks, which is probably why they made that change in radiant so that only wins/losses matter and nothing else.

    But lower ranks are a completely different story. Every game is either stomp or be stomped. Either you have teammates who perform way below the standard of the lobby you're in, or you have a great team but the enemy team is just full of either smurf accounts or people who intentionally derank for whatever reason.

    One guy on either team should not finish the game with a combat score that's +100 than the second person. This game needs to start taking more factors into consideration when ranking up/down. How do you compare to the average person at your rank? Are you much better? Much worse? If you're an outlier your rank needs to be more drastically affected in terms of performance.

    Again, I'm not saying that I shouldn't be in gold. I've been this rank since Act 1 so obviously I'm a gold player and I'm where I belong. But every match feels completely unbalanced on one side or the other. I should not see someone with a diamond boarder or higher just like I shouldn't go afk in spawn for 30 seconds after the round start to get a drink and come back to the round won

    Ranked needs a HARD MMR reset for all ranks. Diamond to Radiant is way to easy to achieve, the skill level of immortal and diamond players varies to much. The overall mechanical skill in high elo has gone down significantly from act 1.

    In the "higher elos" the skill gap between players in diamond to immortal is almost non existent. It seems like a lot of players are being passively boosted to higher ranks through 1 or 2 players carrying.

    There is almost no balance in matchmaking. Having a previous act rank of plat 3 then suddenly that player is immortal 2 the next act is hilarious. That previously plat 3 player should never realistically be able to achieve the 3rd highest rank in the game in that short of time.

    Why does no one force buy 2nd round if they win

    Imagine this. You win pistol round and are up in money. Great. why. WHY would you save and risk a 50/50 when you could force up smgs, have a way better chance at winning, and have a bonus round. Even if you lose the third round, you're still up 2-1 with money to buy vs saving and losing 2nd round going 1-1 with money. It just doesn't make sense. I see this happen even in high plat-low diamond games. It's insane.

    Vorax Fusion disqualified from First Strike: Brasil after COVID-19 cases

    Vorax Fusion was disqualified from First Strike Brasil Quarterfinals even before the first game, due to two players testing positive for COVID-19. Unlike some other regions, the brazilian First Strike is completely face-to-face from the Quarterfinals onwards.

    Acording to a Valorant BR tweet, "Following the preventive measures adopted due to the pandemic, the organization is not in the ideal situation provided for in the regulation".

    Accuracy is more important than speed, how quickly you can miss doesn't matter.

    Now obviously as you get higher up in the ranks and your accuracy is pretty high, it's better to start focusing on speed even if your accuracy suffers a bit (this is what I've heard from high rank friends/youtube), but at lower ranks, if you really want to improve, taking your time and focusing on hitting those headshots will really help (personal experience).

    I thought of this a couple weeks ago and the amount of kills I was getting sky rocketed. It's not the only thing goes into getting a win, but if your aim is far below average for your rank, this can help you stop being as much of a liability. Another thing, use your abilities!! If your aim isn't great, improving it can be good, but using abilities is also super important, and you don't need good aim for that.

    Btw, this isn't directed at any group or the result of something frustrated, I just played a game and got 30 kills so I came up with this "quote" I guess and some tips from how much I improved. This got me out of iron finally :)

    Does anyone else get Icebox waaay more than any other map lately? The last 3 games i played were all icebox when playing with a 3 man group. Over the past 2 days i've played 1x haven 1x split 4x icebox.

    7 minutes of me testing rubber banding and jittering/stuttering in Valorant. Help me understand why changing ISP's has not fixed this problem. Used to use CL and now use Cox, on a side not I have only recently been experiencing this and also it appears in other games, like League of Legends and CSGO
