    Had a full team of "revolver only players" that mind you weren't really bad, but we still went 2-13 in competitive. They refused to use anything else and even the enemy team were supporting them saying they're great and stuff. The whole team reported me for getting upset. Why? How is that not sabotage? If you have 9k and all you do is buy revolvers and go run around the map trying to pop off as Jett to me that's troll AF and I'm pretty dissappointed at the moment. It ruined my experience of the game.

    The toxicity problems with modern day Valorant.

    So, I myself am a hard carry but sometimes i do perform a little worse when my teammates are saying mean things about my mother. I have been a hardcore gamer for at least 3 weeks and I have never experienced such potent toxicity in my videogaming career. It is just obscene. On top of all of this, my wife left, and I think this is particularly unfair as her words were "You are a iron 2 player. I am going to marry an immortal 2 player tomorrow." This strikes me as particularly rude because I am hardstuck in iron 2, even though my skill is on par with Tenz and every other pro player. I am informed he left the professional scene once he saw my gameplay.

    TL;DR

    The game is too toxic and the ranked system is broken.

    Title.

    It's extremely annoying losing health from a jump even before the round starts. This goes for all maps, but Split is the worst - I've lost 22 health trying to make the jump to the new box on B from heaven.

    Longest possible game?(1hr29min52sec)

    Is there a time limit to a games servers? My friends and I were randomly dcd midway through the 48th round and the game ended 24-23 draw. According to riots twitter a while ago the longest game was 56 rounds but only 1hr28min0sec https://imgur.com/a/DOMyk6J

    Overtime Wins / Losses should reward and detract less.

    Hey everyone,

    After a hard fought double overtime loss, I figured this might be something to consider, while wins and losses are the primary factor of ranked rating, overtime should be heavily taken into consideration. Maybe a max RR for a win is capped at +20, recognizing you ended up getting the W but it was not deserving of the 25-30+ due to how close the game was. On the flip-side, losing a game in overtime or double OT etc... should detract much less RR recognizing the hard fought game that could've gone either way. a Max of 15RR should be detracted from the players signifying that in a ranked setting, it can be a coin toss in overtime and you shouldn't be punished for 2 out of the 26+ rounds played.

    REMAKE UPDATE

    Please for the love of god update the ability to vote for a remake when someone disconnects from the first round!! It's not fair that you can't vote for a remake because they are not fully disconnected from the round!! Example : scoreboard says the player disconnected but he's still in the game until the next round therefor unable to vote for a remake only to find him out of the next round/Entire game! It's super frustrating!

    Built a VALORANT launcher with a few extra bells and whistles.

    Hey, I am u/aRandomCheapPerson, and I am a 14 year old developer, high school student, and obviously, obsessed with VALORANT.

    I felt that the VALORANT launcher was a bit plain and I decided that I wasn't going to go and search up VALORANT content, cause, hey, I am too lazy. So instead, I built an app over the weekend using WPF, a framework I was desperately trying to learn.

    It is still very lacking and I plan to build a lot more features for the launcher, and to upgrade the visuals(it still looks pretty bad). However, I am proud of the result of 6 cups of coffee per day and no social life, and I did want to share it with this subreddit.

    I need to mention that this is my first ever attempt using the .NET framework and it has no level of polish of an experienced developer.

    Cheers, and I hope that someone will consider downloading the app.

    Constant Valorant has left the VALORANT lore community

    Hi, I am an admin in Constant Valorants discord server, many of you people know him as the VALORANT lore guy or the guy who sounds like Sova. The past few weeks has been a shocking and disappointing few weeks for us fans of constant. Constant decided to delete all of his socials including his YouTube and his partnered discord server as well. However the support that you the lore community was showing he did return for a brief minute, explained how is personal life and school life was affecting him and how some mistakes he did in the past has come to bite him now. He told us in the new discord server that he will return in February 19:

    Although a lot of community helped him to get on track by helping him credit images, gather all the lore in EP2 and store it in one place until his return and showing immense love and support although he was rarely online after that announcement. He also did mention later on that he will stop making VALORANT related content soon after dropping his final video called "VALORANT the complete lore part 2" which is an updated version of the old video which had outdated lore. After he makes that video and leaves VALORANT content creation he said he is going to make a new YouTube channel (don't know the name or channel) revolving around himself as he said that with VALORANT lore he feels like he is limited to make only lore videos and doesn't feel like he has the freedom to make videos about other topics. However today Jan 27/1/2021 (1/27/2021) he posted a tweet on twitter which caught everyone off guard:

    Starting to believe I'm a Plat 2 in elo hell and that the reason I'm not climbing isn't due to my mechanics or anything pertaining to me but the system itself the whole system is against me Riot must have my username and is purposely putting me with bad teammates where I top frag as Reyna while my entire team dies and does nothing on the site I'm not even taking!!!!!!! This game is so bad and toxic Riot fix matchmaking this game is broken

    If matchmaking is done based on hidden MMR, duoQ restrictions should also be based on hidden MMR.

    Right now you can have two people in plat 3, one with Radiant MMR, and one with plat 3 MMR.

    Right now they can also duoQ together, creating super unfair matches. If Riot insists on hiding our true rank and matching us in games based on this hidden rank, the duo restrictions should apply to our hidden MMR, not our visible rank.

    Edit: Or ya know, just make our rank our MMR and get rid of this hidden crap, Riot

    How big is valorant’s playerbase compared to other tactical FPS?

    I was thinking about giving this game a try, but I wanted to know how big the Playerbase. I'm a big siege player and I know siege has had a really large playerbase cause it's on consoles as well as pc. How big is valo comapred to siege all I know is that valorant is big on twitch.
