    As an avid csgo player, it was growing stale and I wanted something similar to play because I found rainbow six siege too hard for me. A friend of mine suggested valorant a while back but I put it off until one of my friends asked me to install it because they were playing it tonight. The game instantly clicked because of how similar it is to csgo, my first game I did awful then I researched spray patterns and the csgo counterparts and suddenly I was top fragging almost every game with 26-30 kills.

    Not to mention the abilities reminiscent of Overwatch. I grew an attachment to sage with the pure utility she brings with her ice wall, the ability to heal myself and teammates, and the ability to slow the opposing team. And the ultimate is borderline overpowered to me, being able to revive another teammate in the genre of games where you have one life per round and you have to play smart to not lose it.

    Valorant is going to be a game I enjoy playing for the next couple of years.

    Edit: Forgot to mention how funny it is that the vandal is like the exact opposite spray pattern of the ak lol

    In Retake // Episode 2 Cinematic, Jett is wearing a hoodie or a long sleeve t-shirt and i prefer that model over the one we have right now. Maybe Riot can make it so that when we play maps like Haven or Ascent, we get the Default Jett model, and when we play on Icebox we get the long sleeve Jett model...

    No Mics should be put together in matchmaking

    If you want to play ranked without a mic or without using your mic that's fine, but it's frustrating for those people who have mics and want to play with people who have them & use them.

    For those people who say just play with your friends or with people from discord, I still want to Solo que so I know I am not boosted or a higher rank then I should be just because I played with one or two better players from discord.

    Maybe it could be as simple as an option to opt in to tick saying yes I have a mic and I want to use it, that wouldn't be perfect but it would filter some no mics out.

    Or some type of mic volume check, Discord & Team speak can tell what your voice volume is, could something like that be able to tell yes you have a working mic?

    But maybe I just need to go back to dream land and start playing with people from Discord.

    Edit 1: ( I am not talking about splitting the queue, all I ment was adding an extra bit of prioritization of matchmaking to increase the odds of having more mics on your team. As far as super long queue times obviously throw the prioritization out the window after X amount of time. )

    [Episode 2 Lore Teasers] VALORANT's Various Instagram Profiles Posted Several Teaser Images Today!

    Heyoooooo!

    Despite the leaks that have unfortunately ruined many of the surprises Riot had lined up for us, I think we owe it to them to at the very least break down the teasers they released today on Instagram.

    I'm going to refrain from using information that was including in the Dev Build leaks.

    The teases began with a post from playVALORANT (NA) on Instagram:

    This first image was used in their stories to link to the other posts. We can see a redacted image of our upcoming Agent, suspected name Yoru (Teased in the Creative Team's End of Year Dev Blog).

    "OSIRS LNK" possibly Osiris the Egyptian God of Death? This may be a call back to the Memento Mori card in Act 3's battle pass.

    "WS DC" is short for Washington D.C. which will be confirmed by the next image.

    Here we see the Washington Monument in the background, and what appears to be some Radiant energy in front of a Kingdom Facility. We assume this to be Yoru's doing.

    This next image came from Brazil's VALORANT Instagram account.

    We see Raze's hand, and her messages with Brimstone. She's standing in front of some iconic architecture in Salvador, Brazil.

    Here's a translation of their conversation (thanks to EllyZinhx!):R: "Saw this online."R: "do you know anything about it?"B: "it's confidential"R: "ughhh, you're boring."

    I love how they put her GunBuddy on her Phone.

    The next image comes from VALORANT LATAM:

    We see Reyna's pointy shoe stepping over a newspaper with the following headline:

    VALORANT Turkey posted the next teaser, an image with audio that translates to the following:

    "I saw nothing, I was sweeping the floor then I saw some weird sound not like electricity it was weird then a sudden feeling of spookiness came -I was alone at the night shift then I heard footsteps. I followed the steps, but saw nothing -I made them look at the cameras afterwards, there was nothing on the cameras too. I'm working here since 1991 this Ankara (capital of Turkey) Kingdom facility is newly built. I'm so confused, is there something under it?"

    This audio is Cypher interviewing a janitor working at a Kingdom facility that Yoru took a peek into.

    Next, we have a post from VALORANT Russia

    We see a Radianite Rift opening into a sunlit city through the lens of a dashcam.

    The caption reads: "The recorder of an extreme sportsman who conquered another off-road filmed a gigantic breakthrough in reality in Siberia. Inside the gap... It all started there." (Google did this translation)

    Lastly, we were brought back to the NA account:

    Here we see some paint thrown about a Kingdom facility door, with Kanji on the ground:

    It roughly translates to "Regret/ Disappointment/Sorry" (but likely in a cheeky tone)(@pe_rackcity provided this translation!)

    The mask drawn on the door shares the imagery we've come to associate with Yoru, VP-15 (Confirmed as of the release of his Spotify Playlist).

    What is this all leading too?

    We're likely seeing Yoru make his way across the globe in search of the Samurai armor on Icebox Site A. His teases in the Battle Pass and on Icebox heavily suggest Japanese origins, with a tie to the bloodline that owned the War Ship that is being picked apart by Kingdom, undoubtedly because it is Radianite infused.

    The "Intruder Alert" displays we see on Icebox are almost certainly referring to his presence there at the Kingdom Artic Research facility.

    That being said, can we appreciate how amazing these teasers are?

    Riot is effectively bringing different regions and parts of the community together to piece together a narrative using language and our mutual love for the game.

    Amazing work from the Creative Team!

    Anyone have any info on this,it just happend he is the only one in the community that was really hard working in the lore aspect and really made some quality videos and the discord was really cool and entertaining.It is odd he didn't even announce anything.

    Literally the gold and the pink/white variant are so sleek. Especially that gold one. Oooohhhh.

    Also that gold classic... Fucking heavenly even without effects.

    P.S stop complaining that every battle pass should have a good knife skin, as long as the overall skins are cool then that's good in my book. Plus, the new knife skin doesn't look bad at all, it's not great but it's decent.

    Clip from my friends POV

    I learnt this trick from this subreddit months ago when killjoy was first released in Act 2. I just wanted to create this post to remind people of this trick and appreciate it. I had tried the trick a few times before but this was the first really successful one and it happened to be in a radiant lobby with my radiant friends.

    The trick is to use your omen ultimate while the killjoy ultimate is about to detonate and you will be able to cancel and teleport back into the position you were at and avoid being detained (catches enemies off guard as seen in the video)

    • You should use your ultimate with around 2 seconds until detonation of KJ ult, this is because you need to get into the part of the animation where you see the location you are ulting to, otherwise you will do it too late and still get detained.
    • Just press 'x' or your ultimate button again once you see the "ENEMY KILLJOY" indicator show the amount of players detained.

    People often struggle with dealing with killjoy ultimate when they are used to retake a site. Using this trick is a really strong aid in keeping site control and ending the retake attempt since you are able to have a player on site to stall the enemy for even just a few seconds and /or get a kill, which allows your team to rotate back to holding the spike defuse.

    Increase amount of skins in rotation?

    Since we've got a pretty bunch of weapon skins and only being able to buy a collection and 4 skins at a time in the market place, do you guys think they should increase it from 4 to 8? Get skins you might've wanted before they got off the market place.

    If a hacker is caught hacking in game all your previous games with that player shouldn’t be counted.

    Would this be a good idea? If a hacker is caught and banned from the game, what if all the games you had with that player shouldn't be counted at all. This idea probably wont work but just an idea.
