    every round start, up to four times. it gets old fast.

    it gets worse when you're matched with trolls, because it's the only thing you cannot mute (other than bodyblocking and inting).

    A quick fix for folks who feel their aim training isn't paying off

    All of your aim training in something like Kovaaks is with no recoil weapons so holding your mouse one down ain't an issue. This is especially true if you're following something like Aimer7's guide.

    If your aim training with taps and burst then why are you spraying in game? Unless that fella is within like say the length of A short on Bind stop spraying. That example might help you visualize what I'm describing.

    Just Stop Spraying, Stop, Please. I see it all the time in my games folks who've clearly put time in their tracking, mouse control, crosshair placement, etc... But then they throw it out the window the moment they see someone.

    You've put in the time and effort and you deserve to see some payoff for it, this won't fix everything but it will help quite a bit.

    So one last time,

    If I'm getting one-tapped and insta'd in Bronze, what the hell do higher elos look like?

    I've been playing the game for about two weeks now, but I have a lengthy history with CS:GO. I've been placed in Iron, and climbed to Bronze 3.

    With that being said, I'm constantly in games where enemy team just one taps or bursts me down in micro seconds. I know how low elos of an FPS should look like, and this isn't it. It doesn't feel like I'm against players of low ranks at all.

    What is the case here? Smurfing is rampant in the game or the player base are just that good?

    The only reason I felt compelled to open a post about it is that it feels discoursing as a new players trying to the hang of things.

    The reactions here at this elo are not what they should be. Bronze players shouldn't just Deeg one tap in a blink of an eye.

    This is just a suggestion to anyone only playing Duelists just for their abilities. If you're going to insta-lock someone like Reyna, who in my opinion should always be 1st or 2nd entry (1st/2nd on site) then you NEED TO be getting kills to be effective in a game. I'm not saying this to discourage you from learning a duelist, but don't pick someone like Reyna or Phoenix if you're not comfortable putting yourself in front of your Omen or Cypher to get that opening frag.

    Valorant is different from CSGO in that the agents have SET roles instead of everyone having the same nades, smokes, flashes. If you want to sit back and pick off lurkers then play literally anyone but the person with flashes that go through walls (Reyna).

    I can speak for at least 60% of players we will give our soul for theese type of skins idk why they dont do it but they would make more money, make there players happier and it would just be good for all why not make more of theese.     When I try to do it the movement feels slow as usual and I have to stop and shoot.

    When the enemy does it they're strafing at the speed of light and spamming 5 bullets into me instantly without stopping.

    Had a pretty annoying deathmatch session. I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong so how do you properly strafe + shoot?

    For those who don't know, the new magepunk bundle has been released and priced at 7100 VAL points which is about $70 if you want to have enough valorant points to buy the bundle.

    This has been a problem since the beta of valorant, bundle prices and weapon skins are overly priced; however, I feel like this bundle justifies the cries of a need for cheaper prices even more.

    Note: I'm basing the price of the skin by how much valorant points you need to buy to have enough in the shop. Spectre is 1,775, but you can't directly buy 1,775, most you would need to unlock is $19.99, round up to $20, for 2050 valorant points which leaves you a remainder of 275.

    Let's take a look at the spectre

    Priced at 1,775 Valorant Points, has 4 levels and 4 different color patterns

    I think the spectre looks nice; it fits the theme of magepunk but when you go into the different animations with the upgraded levels; that's when I feel as this skin is average and not worth the merely $20 just to get this skin alone. Let's take a look at how the skin looks with level 4 where it has the VFX, animations and finisher

    Thoughts on Level 4 MAGEPUNK SpectreAs I said before, the model is nice, I like the actual skin of the gun, but I don't think its worth bundle price or even the individual price of the skin. Especially when you look at the level 4 upgrades from the GIFs above. The reload animation feels lazy and doesn't have any special flare to it; same with the overall small electric animations around the gun. For $10-$12, this wouldn't be too bad, but for $20 just for the skin or $70 for the bundle; it seems a bit too much.

    Comparing to Singularity and Prime Spectre

    Level 4 Singularity-

    Price: 2,175 Valorant Points, Need $25 to get enough valorant points: 2,525

    Level 4 Prime

    Price: 1,775 Valorant Points. Need $20 to get enough valorant points: 2,050

    Prime/Singularity Thoughts Compared to MagepunkI don't think the prime and singularity are also worth their cost; as said before, valorant is known for having high skin prices, but I do think these two skins are better in value than the magepunk. It is my opinion.First, the prime spectre has a unique reload animation, something the magepunk really does not have. I would same the quality of the finisher is about the same; its average, its what it needs to be; I think the the wolf one is a bit better; I'd be happier with that personally. Now the prime spectre has the excuse of it being one of the first skins but it also gets called out for its price too. Remember no one is justifying the prices here! I just want Riot to make skins that justify their prices if they're going to charge us a lot.

    Second, the singularity spectre is obviously the one with most work put in it: the animation when you equip the gun, the reload animation, the firing, the finisher, the sounds, all of it is there. Now this is an example of a skin that I'm more likely to spend $20 on or even buy the bundle if I like the rest of the weapons. This skin has everything that prime and magepunk lack or was done without much thought.

    Just watch the gifs and compare each reload animation; I feel like that shows the most, there was really no thought into the magepunk reload animation compared to the prime and singularity.

    Conclusion Ultimately, the magepunk spectre is an example of a skin that could be priced around a reasonable $10-$12 but is instead priced at $20. The singularity is a perfect example of a $15-$20 skin, and the prime is also a good example of the decrease in effort made in magepunk. The prime and singularity both had unique reload animations, while the magepunk lacked much of one. In addition, the singularity had all factors: vfx, reload animation, finisher, firing animation with good quality and worth the price its estimated $25 compared to the $20 magepunk spectre. If Riot is going to charge us high prices for skins, at least make it worth their price and justify it; stay consistent with making these skins good quality or if you're going to put less effort; at least make it much cheaper.

    EDIT: I'm not simply just complaining about the price here, I'm complaining that the quality of the skin does not fit the price; thats the problem with the valorant skins; when you look at the price, look at the quality and compare. In my opinion the quality doesn't satisfy the price. This is all subjective and my opinion but do not say I'm just complaining about high prices.

    A theory about the new map. (Foxtrot)

    So, obviously i have a theory. For me, it all started to click when i heard the name FOXTROT, and i saw the "Lost at sea" player card. Now, most of you guys have (probably) played a game called Battleship. And if i do remember correctly, there is a row on the board titled "Foxtrot." I believe that the name of this upcoming map could be some sort of reference to the game. (Battleship) This theory has made me think that the new map will have some sort of deal with boats, the ocean, and/or possibly some islands as well?

    But that is all for now, and i'll make sure to be on the lookout for new content!

    I lose when I do good and win when I am literally last on scoreboard

    I mean I cant really complain too much, I hover around Dia 1/2 which satisfies me. What is kinda frustrating though, is that I lose the games where I am Team/Match MVP (on Duelists mostly) and win the games were I literally have like a 8/7/4 score playing initiator or smokes. It´s kinda a cognitive dissonance. Anyone else experiences this?

    Generally though I feel like the average duelist is wayy better than the average utility player which leads me to conlcude that in order to win higher elo games you kinda have to play utility. Any opinions?

    Question about Viper's 50 decay damage mechanic

    Since the new buffs to Viper make her smokes deal 50 decay damage instantly, my friend and I were messing around with some smoke + marshal strategies (as the 50 decay would cause a single marshal body shot, 101 damage, to kill). However, from what my friend and I found, a marshal shot to the body on a decayed opponent only takes them down to 1 hp. I don't think this is unique to the marshal, either, as a ghost headshot from close range (105 damage) also took the decayed opponent to 1 hp instead of killing them.

    So from what I can see, it seems that an opponent that has taken 50 decay damage from Viper's smokes cannot be killed by a single shot dealing at least 100 damage and less than 150 damage. Mathematically, this doesn't check out, so I was a bit confused.

    Has anyone else had the chance to test this, with similar results? And if so, do you guys think it is a bug, or an intentional design?
