| Streamers smurfing and being toxic Posted: 08 Apr 2021 08:55 AM PDT Hey so, I was just watching a few videos of this guy who did an iron to radiant solo-q only series and I couldn't help but feel like that's a little trashy. The guy's immortal, idk what ygs think but imho he shouldn't be playing in iron/bronze/silver etc. Like no matter the excuse, it's still smurfing, right? Even if it's for YT vids - he's still ruining the experience for everyone he plays with in low elos. Smurfing aside, after watching some of his streams, I've come to realize he's actually kinda toxic too. Like if things are going well, he's chill, but the moment something goes wrong, like let's say someone on his team isn't doing too well, he starts bossing them and then makes comments like 'you're boosted', 'don't buy accounts omg' or 'I can't believe some people are radiants'. It's mildly irritating at this point considering everyone has bad games - even he does too. Typing nt in chat never killed anyone, and perhaps, sometimes, it's all the encouragement ur teammate needs 2 do better. The other day he got mad at the Viper on his team cuz he wasn't doing so well and told everyone in all chat to report him. The next game, he didn't do so well and the Reyna on his team did the same to him and he went sumn along the lines of 'I'm just trying to play man idk why Reyna's being so toxic'. He basically indirectly said what he did was toxic considering he did the exact same thing to Viper. It bothers me how no one cares to point out his attitude which leads me to wonder, does having 100 viewers all you need for smurfing and being toxic to become okay for you? I'm really sorry if I come off as just some whiny dude on the internet. Today I played competitive, and this Viper and Astra were completely inting me, on purpose. Viper kept throwing her mollies at me and Astra kept concussing and smoking my teammates... It was kinda annoying, but I tried not to let it bother me since Astra was at least being funny. Eventually, Viper comes on the mic and starts mouthing off all sorts of things, which ya know, I just mute him. It's bronze, and honestly it's not like we communicate much in this ELO anyways. Then I queue in another time, and guess who it is, Viper. He does the usual, and I just dodge. I know I shouldn't let this bother me, but I was using Valorant as a way to "destress" from personal issues and school, so it kinda sucks. These things don't usually bother me and I promise that, but I suppose the pandemic had affected me more heavily than I'd expected. I just needed somewhere to complain. Thanks for reading if you did. | Posted: 08 Apr 2021 10:48 AM PDT Skye's ultimate tracking is still so buggy, it can fly up mid air to even reach but somehow it cant get over a Sage wall? Instead it tries to break it and then continue it's path. The general pathing sometimes is so bugged out it will just keep going up and down over and over again until it runs out If you're on top of the Platform on B haven for example the Ult will just get up on the platform and try to stun you, the same thing if you're on B rafters on split the ult will fly towards you but if it's behind a sage wall it will bug out and not do anything until the wall breaks [link] [comments] | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I instantly fell in love and with me being competitive in nature, I wanna be good at everything I do so Ive been playing this game for hours upon hours every day. Now I dont want to blame my team but please hear me out. Im stuck in bronze 3 and to my dissapointment Im more often than not top fragging, Ive been playing this game for 7 days I should not so consistently be the top fragger. So after watching some vids on YouTube basically what they all told me is to guide my teammates. Problem is ive only been playing for 7 days I have 0 game sense. I know how to outplay/outangle opponents due to experience in previous shooter games, but theres no way in hell I know how to lead a team because I have no knowledge on this matter and its starting to become pretty frustrating. I just want silver so im able to play with my friends who are in gold thats all. How do I win rounds with bad teammates and insufficient knowledge to lead? | We really need an option to have Solo Queue Only or a Solo Queue Mode Posted: 07 Apr 2021 04:46 PM PDT Just got out of playing 3 games in a row with 4 stacks on my team. Not a single person spoke to me, literally not a single word. I request a gun, no one buys, I ask in team voice and they just ignore me. I know they hear me too because when I get left solo defending a site and I hear a lot of footsteps I would say full rush B and they would all rotate over. How do I know they are 4 stacked you ask? I ask them in chat, all 3 of the games someone said yes to that question. Also they're typing to the enemy team and trying to tilt the enemy team, which is fine. But I know they can communicate just because of that. They didn't say anything to me at all, which I guess can be a positive since it's better than 4 people berating me for being the fill in their lobby, plus we were winning so they didn't have any real incentive. But these games I would have to say are probably some of the most boring games I've played to date, and it only made it worst because it happened 3 times in a row. I'm just in a silent room all to myself while playing a TEAM GAME. Sorry just had to vent and coming from Dota 2 where there's such an option as a Solo Queue only mode, it is so much better than having to fill a 4 stack, where the best-case scenario is they might make a callout and in the worst-case scenario you just get bullied by 4 people that just back each other up and drown out whatever you say. I don't get why Solo Queue Only isn't an option yet. It literally makes the Ranked experience so much better for solo players and people who want to stack can still stack. [link] [comments] |
